Nobody hits Jennifer Lopez and gets away with it.

Robert John Reitz has been identified as the man who hit Lopez's car in late September and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office is charging him with two misdemeanor counts of DUI, TMZ reported.

Reitz reportedly had a blood alcohol level of .15, nearly twice the legal limit, when he rear-ended Lopez's brand new Rolls-Royce on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA.

According to prosecutors, Reitz may face jail time.

When the car accident occurred, the 45-year-old American Idol judge was driving with Leah Remini, Lopez's twins -- Max and Emme, both 6 -- and Remini's daughter Sofia, 10. The children were in the backseat but no one was harmed, People reported.

The driver had reportedly bolted the scene before formally exchanging insurance information with Lopez at the time of the incident. He sped off only to be arrested by police shortly afterwards.

Lopez will return to judge American Idol's upcoming fourteenth season. She also sat on the panel for Idol's tenth, eleventh and thirteenth editions. The singer and actress took Season 12 off last year to focus on her music career.

Remini, 44, competed on Dancing with the Stars' seventeenth season with pro partner Tony Dovolani. The couple finished in fifth place. Her reality series Leah Remini: It's All Relative premiered on TLC in July.
