Jamie Otis and husband Doug Hehner are expecting their first child together.

The first-season Married at First Sight couple revealed they will welcome a child in December.

"We can't wait to start this new chapter of our lives," Otis, who was also a contestant on Bachelor Pad 3 and Ben Flajnik's season of The Bachelor, told People. "Being a mom has been my dream... We couldn't be happier."

"It feels like we're just now truly starting our lives together," Hehner added. "It's the icing on the cake for us to be starting our family and we're absolutely over the moon."

The couple met on the day of their wedding. They didn't even know each other's names prior to Otis walking down the aisle. Although Otis initially found Hehner unattractive, their love grew over time and they turned out to be a Married at First Sight success story.

Since saying, "I do," Otis and Hehner's life has been documented on the spinoff show Married at First Sight: The First Year for the last two years.

Hehner, 35, then made a joke about parenthood.

"In a way, it'll be just like our marriage -- Parents at First Sight," said Hehner. "We can't wait to lay eyes on this little miracle of ours!"

In addition to her stints on reality TV, 30-year-old Otis also recently released a memoir called Wifey 101: Everything I Got Wrong After Finding Mr. Right.
