Heidi Klum is branching out.

Lifetime has announced it has ordered Seriously Funny Kids, a new unscripted series that will be hosted and produced by the Project Runway star and feature her provoking hilarious and insightful comments from children.

"Someone once said never work with children and animals -- so I decided to drop the animals and stick with the kids," Klum said.

"Naptime, playtime and snack time are my favorites, so is it any wonder that kids and I get along so well?  I have four children under the age of six, and to be honest, sometimes I enjoy them more than adults. They're uncensored, unpredictable and absolutely hilarious.  The kids will be the absolute stars of this show."

Lifetime has ordered 20 half-hour episodes of the series, which will debut in 2011.

"Seriously Funny Kids will continue to diversify our original programming schedule as we move forward developing and ordering new series that strengthen Lifetime’s powerful combination of reality, scripted programs and movies year-round," Lifetime Networks president and general manager Nancy Dubuc said.

Seriously Funny Kids is being produced by LMNO Productions, which previously co-produced Kids Say the Darndest Things for CBS in the late 90's and also currently produces I Get That A Lot for the network.

In addition to Klum, I Get That A Lot producer Eric Schotz and Project Runway producers Desiree Gruber and Jane Cha are also serving as the show's executive producers.
