Bravo announced it has tapped fashion expert and personal stylist Gretta Monahan to replace Veronica Webb as Tim Gunn's Guide to Style's host for the reality show's second season.

"I've been a fan of Gretta's for awhile now - she's on the edge of fashion with a fresh approach that resonates well with all types of women," said Gunn. "I'm thrilled to have her as my fashion accomplice."

Bravo had hinted at Webb's potential departure when it failed to mention her in its recent programming announcements that included Tim Gunn's Guide to Style's formal renewal. Webb subsequently confirmed she wouldn't be returning for the show's second season.

While Monahan may have no previous reality credentials under her belt she is a television regular  -- including appearances on The Rachel Ray Show and hosting a fashion segment for Boston's WHDH-TV NBC affiliate.

She has also contributed to Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The View and has provided beauty and fashion advice for W Magazine, Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Elle and Marie Claire.

She currently owns the Boston-based Grettacole Spas, Salons and Boutiques, and she also has additional salons, spas and boutiques in New York City.

Tim Gunn's Guide to Style's second season -- which will continue to follow the Project Runway fashion guru as he helps hapless fashion dilemmas transform into stylish individuals -- is scheduled to air later this year.
