Gabby Windey has shown off the dress she would've worn for Clayton Echard's marriage proposal on The Bachelor's 26th season, and Clayton had something flirty to say about it!

Gabby recently took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself in a skin-tight black dress with a high neck and a very low back.

"Cl*yton was supposed to propose to me in this dress," Gabby captioned her upload.

Many fans were wondering what Clayton thought about the beautiful dress, and he chimed in with a comment to share exactly how he was feeling.

"Bring the dress to Scottsdale this weekend," the Season 26 The Bachelor star wrote, referring to the city in Arizona where he currently resides and works as a real estate agent.

The former football player and medical sales representative's comment certainly didn't go unnoticed, as most of Gabby's followers totally opposed of the idea of Gabby and Clayton reuniting or getting back together.

"Absolutely SCREAMING...the audacity!!!!" one fan wrote, along with crying-laughing emoticons.

Another person wrote, "Imma puke lmao," and a third Instagram user commented, "Leave gabby alone."

One fan wrote, "You had your chance buddy," and another chimed in, "You don't deserve the dress or the woman wearing it!"

On The Bachelor's 26th season, which aired in early 2022, Clayton slept with -- and professed his love to -- both Gabby and Rachel Recchia during the Fantasy Suites.

Once it became time for his third overnight date with Susie Evans, Clayton expressed his love for her as well, but the wedding videographer was too heartbroken over his actions to stay and continue competing for his final rose.

Clayton therefore introduced Rachel and Gabby to his family, only to seemingly suddenly realize he was the "most" in love with Susie, a "once-in-a-lifetime woman." Clayton dumped Gabby and Rachel simultaneously, in the same conversation, as a result.

Clayton begged for another shot with Susie, but she returned for the Final Rose Ceremony only to break up with him under the assumption he wasn't her "person."

However, Susie and Clayton reunited after the show wrapped filming, and they were an item who announced their love to the world on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose in March 2022.

Internet trolls slammed Susie for giving Clayton another chance and allegedly having no respect for herself. Both Susie and Clayton faced so much backlash on social media -- including death threats to Clayton -- that it affected their mental health and even turned the pair against each other at times.

Susie announced the pair's breakup in September 2022, and Clayton has been single and dating ever since.

Rachel also reacted to Gabby's black-dress picture, writing, "HAHAHA. I-..."

After Clayton's season, Gabby and Rachel co-starred on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season together in 2022. Gabby got engaged to Erich Schwer and Rachel accepted a marriage proposal from Tino Franco during the finale, but both couples have since split.

News of Gabby and Erich's split surfaced on November 4, and then Gabby revealed on Dancing with the Stars later that month how she and her former fiance weren't "in sync" or "the best match" for each other.

Gabby then admitted while competing on Dancing with the Stars' 31st season that she had a crush on Jersey Shore alum Vinny Guadagnino. Although the pair flirted on social media for months, it appears they never began dating.

Gabby was spotted on a dinner date with Dancing with the Stars pro Alan Bersten in March, but neither person has yet to publicly comment on their romance.

For Rachel's part, she and Clayton sparked reconciliation rumors in February when they reunited and posted a series of playful TikTok videos, which also featured The Bachelorette 18 star Michelle Young, who had dumped Clayton on her 2021 season before he was chosen to star on The Bachelor.

Clayton told Us Weekly on its "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast in late February that it was "really cool" spending time with Rachel after the pair had gone a whole year without speaking.

"There was so much healing there. That conversation was so powerful," Clayton shared.

Clayton then dropped the bombshell that he and Rachel actually discussed the possibility of them reconciling and getting back together.

"Her and I both talked about it. We said, you know, we have very high thoughts of each other. But, of course, after what all happened, it's like, 'How would you ever go about dating again after all of that occurred?'" Clayton reasoned.

"She doesn't have any interest in doing so, and I got that. I also was on my end, like, 'You know what, after everything we went through, being friends sounds very pleasant.'"

Clayton said he walked away from his experience with Rachel feeling positive and lighter.

"I just remember thinking like, 'Man, this just felt so rewarding.' And I'm just so happy to know that even someone like her -- after everything that happened -- everyone that was mad at me, [but] nobody could be more mad at me than her or Gabby," Clayton explained.

"And so for her to forgive me and tell me that, 'Hey, I understand, and I don't hold this against you any longer,' that was probably one of the best things I could have heard... They don't have any reason to [forgive me]... If they forgive me specifically, I should be able to forgive myself. And so I did."

Rachel addressed speculation she was giving Clayton another shot in a February 3 post on Instagram Stories.

"U guys have me dedd [sic] it's all in good fun. Healing and forgiveness is a lesson I had trouble learning for a long time. I promise I'm not leaving this era quite yet," Rachel said.
