After having originally announced that its new The Complex series would air Mondays at 9PM ET/PT following its special two-hour Monday, August 30 premiere, Fox has decided to move the series to Fridays at 8PM ET/PT beginning with its Friday, September 3 second episode.

As part of a significant Fox reality reshuffling, The Complex's originally scheduled Monday time period will now be taken by the network's new Renovate Your Family series (previously called Family Time), which itself was originally scheduled to air both Tuesday and Thursdays but, following its Wednesday, September 1 premiere, will now only air once-weekly on Mondays.

Filling Renovate Your Family's Tuesday time period will be Fox's new The Next Great Champ series, which was originally scheduled to premiere Friday, September 10 but will now air its first four episodes on Tuesdays beginning Tuesday, September 7 at 9PM ET/PT before moving back to its originally scheduled Fridays at 9PM time period (which will continue to run repeat episodes of Tuesday's episodes) in October.

Apparently deciding against attempting to program Renovate Your Family versus the upcoming second season of NBC's The Apprentice (premiering September 9), Fox will now fill the Thursday 9PM time period with Totally Outrageous Behavior and World's Craziest Videos episodes for September.

Unaffected by the shakeup is the network's Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy reality series, which will remain airing in its Tuesdays at 8PM ET/PT timeslot.

In Friday's second episode of The Complex, the remaining seven couples will continue to compete for the opportunity to restore and redecorate one of four units in a complex -- with one couple resorting to sabotage in their attempt to stay in the game.

Hopefully Fox will have better luck (or at least show more patience) with The Complex's performance in the Friday time period than it showed with last spring's Playing It Straight and Forever Eden series.
