Give Fox credit -- some of their reality concepts might not be original, but they certainly seem to know how to get a show to the airwaves quickly.

Following last week's announcement that it was developing an "ultimate family makeover" show called Family Time, this week the network disclosed that the first episode of the program, starring the Biggins family seen in July's Trading Spouses premiere episode, will air on Tuesday, September 7 at 9PM ET/PT.

Hosted by best-selling author Jay McGraw, the son of Dr. Phil McGraw, Family Time will air twice weekly, airing new self-contained episodes on both Tuesdays at 9PM ET/PT and Thursdays at 9PM ET/PT, with a special two-hour installment airing on Thursday, September 9 at 8PM ET/PT.

Billed by Fox as a "life improvement program that visits families who have encountered some challenge along the way," each self-contained episode of Family Time will spotlight a family that will, with the help panel of makeover professionals, "restore and redecorate" their lives.

In the premiere episode, the Biggins family from Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy will continue to pursue their goal of enriching their livelihood by allowing Family Time's full force makeover team into their lives. Will Al-Mela, Anthon, Chrishara, Zikea, and little Omar be ready for a lifestyle examination and reformation?

Family Time is Fox's latest addition to a reality-heavy September programming slate that will include The Complex, The Next Great Champ, as well as the already airing Trading Spouses.

Family Time is from Rocket Science Laboratories, the producers of Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy, My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé and Joe Millionaire. Jean-Michel Michenaud, Chris Cowan and Ray Giuliani serve as executive producers. Janelle Fiorito serves as co-executive producer.
