Fox has also announced that Hostel director Eli Roth will serve as On the Lot's guest judge during the following week's July 3 broadcast in which one of the six finalists who screened their individual short comedy films on the June 26 broadcast will be eliminated and the six other remaining Top 12 finalists will screen new horror films.

Both Waters and Roth will serve as guest judges along with regular On the Lot judges Carrie Fisher and Garry Marshall.
