Toby -- father of 12 children, eight girls and four boys, ages 5 to 24 -- was taken into custody Friday for an alleged sexual encounter with an underage female approximately 12 years ago, Us Weekly reported.

Toby was arrested in Greenville, KY. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation claims he had traveled to Kentucky in attempt to escape police.

Agents from the TBI reportedly began investigating the 46-year-old reality star on August 29.

Toby is currently being held at the Muhlenberg County Jail without bond on a fugitive from justice warrant, according to Us, and he will later be extradited to the Cheatham County Jail without bond.

Toby, his wife Brenda and their 12 kids found fame as a country-music band when they competed on Season 9 of America's Got Talent in 2014. The band reached the quarterfinals.

The family then scored their own TLC reality show, which followed their musical journey and personal lives. The Willis Family aired for two seasons from May 2015 to April of this year.

"TLC did not renew The Willis Family, and new episodes have not aired since April 2016," the network said in a statement to the magazine. "We are shocked to hear this news."

According to a source, the Willis family was told in May the show was being canceled because it failed to deliver great ratings.

"The network does extensive background checks, but found no issues with Toby," the Us source added.
