The Bachelorette alum Emily Maynard has become a grandmother, as her daughter Josephine Riddick "Ricki" Hendrick has welcomed a baby into the world.

"Best day ever," Ricki captioned two black-and-white photos.
The first photo showed Ricki seeing her daughter for the first time after delivering by c-section, and the second image showed Emily, 39, and her husband, Tyler Johnson, holding their first grandchild.
Tyler also posted a carousel of photos of the newborn via Instagram, writing, "We became grandparents today!! The feeling is inexpressible. This is love. 1 John 4:7-11."
The photos included one of Emily and Tyler kissing while holding the baby, Ricki feeding her daughter from a bottle, and Ricki's brothers and sisters posing with the baby girl in the hospital.
Emily also shares five children -- Jones, 3, Nola Belle, 5, Gatlin, 8, Gibson, 9, and Jennings, 10 -- with Tyler.
It also appears that Ricki's grandmother got to hold Ricki's baby.
Prior to falling in love with Tyler -- whom she married in June 2014 -- Emily had welcomed Ricki with her late fiance Ricky Hendrick.
Ricki's father, Ricky, was a race car driver who tragically died in a plane crash in 2004 only days before Emily discovered she was pregnant with her first child at age 18. Emily became a mother when Ricki was born in June 2005.
Ricki announced her first pregnancy via Instagram Stories in August 2025. At the time, she shared that her heart was "so full."
Ricki quipped, "My heart is so full, yet my stomach is so empty because she hates all food. I'm convinced."

In September 2025, one of Ricki's followers asked how her family felt about her having a "baby outside of marriage."
Ricki responded via Instagram Stories with a video in which Emily popped in.
"I'm very against it," Emily joked. "I cannot believe anybody would ever do that. Unforgivable."
Ricki laughed at her mom's sarcasm and continued, "My mom is, truthfully, so devastated. She's so upset. She's not excited at all for me to have a baby."
While speaking, Ricki showed off all the baby products and gifts Emily had already purchased.
"She's pissed, actually. She's super angry. She can't even look at me. She doesn't support it at all. She is pissed," Ricki quipped.
Emily found fame when she competed on Season 15 of The Bachelor, Brad Womack's second edition of the show, as an endearing single mom. She later starred on Season 8 of The Bachelorette.

Brad proposed marriage in the March 2011 finale, but the couple split up just three months after the finale aired on ABC. Emily said at the time she didn't have the maturity to deal with such a public and serious relationship.
Emily got engaged three times before her final engagement to Tyler stuck and the couple got married.

In addition to Ricky and Brad, she was also previously engaged to her The Bachelorette Season 8 winner Jef Holm.
Emily and Jef broke up in October 2012, a few months after her The Bachelorette season finale aired on ABC.
