Former The Bachelor bachelorette Ashley Spivey is now a married woman.

Spivey wed her fiance, Steven Hunsberger, during an intimate ceremony in North Carolina on Saturday.

The couple, who met at a bar in New York City shortly after Spivey competed for Brad Womack on The Bachelor's fifteenth season in 2011, exchanged vows in Wrightsville Beach.

"Marrying this babe today!" Spivey, 31, captioned a photo with her new husband on Instagram early Saturday. "Can't believe the day is finally here!"

Spivey also shared a picture in which she was posing with her mother.

"So thankful for my gorgeous Mom who has gone above and beyond this week! I love you sooooo much," the reality TV star wrote alongside the image.

Spivey donned a simple yet elegant ivory mermaid gown with her hair down in loose curls. Hunsberger wore a grey suit, and their guests dressed in beach-cocktail attire. Spivey posted a gorgeous photo on Instagram Sunday night of the newlyweds hand-in-hand smiling under a willow tree.

Spivey and Hunsberger detailed their love story on their wedding website.

"Once upon a time, Ashley decided to go on a reality show that most men don't watch. Luckily for her, Steve loved watching The Bachelor and he decided that Ashley was his favorite and she definitely shouldn't have been sent home on that two-on-one date," she wrote.

Dubbed a 26-year-old nanny from New York, NY, at the time she competed on the show, Spivey received Womack's First Impression Rose but was eventually eliminated during a two-on-one date against her best friend in the house, Ashley Hebert.

"A couple of months later, Steve saw Ashley at Brother Jimmy's and he decided to buy her a shot, but sadly she was dating someone else. Undeterred, Steve pressured Rakesh and Kristin (mutual friends) to hook the two of them up. A year later, Rakesh and Kristin hosted a going away party at Bounce and Kristin promised Steve that she would get Ashley there," Spivey continued on her wedding website.

"Ashley arrived really late and Steve was a little inebriated but somehow convinced Ashley to go on a date later in the week. The couple had their first date at Rose Bar, on a Wednesday, where they took one too many tequila shots and have been together ever since. They still love Wednesday date nights and still take a tequila shot on every date."

Spivey announced her engagement to Hunsberger on Instagram in December 2014.
