America voted, and Lucy Hale, Chantel Kohl, Jordan McCoy, Taylor Thompson and Tori Thompson will join previously announced Morgan Burke, Chauncey Matthews, A.J. Melendez, Katelyn Tarver and Danielle White in the final round of "American Juniors".

The stakes get higher next starting Tuesday, July 1 (8-9 PM ET/PT) on FOX as the 10 finalists compete for America's vote and a position in the group. After five weeks, America will have formed a five-member musical act who will perform together for the first time on the "American Juniors" finale Tuesday, August 19.

Immediately following the Tuesday episode, the toll-free "American Juniors" phone lines will open and viewers can vote for their favorite contestant(s) until 11 ET/PT, subject to time zone restrictions. Starting Tuesday, July 1, viewers will call a new phone number 1-877-9KIDS-01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 or 10 to cast their vote(s) for their favorite performer(s).

The finalists competing on Tuesday, July 1 are (alphabetical by last name):

- Morgan Burke, Nashville, TN
Morgan got his start performing at church and in nursing homes. When he grows up he wants to be an entertainer.

- Lucy Hale, Cordova, TN
At the age of eight, Lucy got her start at a small competition in Memphis, TN. She'd like to become a professional singer and entertainer.

- Chantel Kohl, Omaha, NE
Chantel got her start singing at the Miss Nebraska pageant in 2001. She'd like to continue entertaining and become a singer and actress.

- Chauncey Matthews, San Diego, CA
Chauncey got his singing ambitions in church and his favorite type of music is gospel. When he grows up, he'd like to continue singing and possibly become an actor.

- Jordan McCoy, Mt. Vernon, IL
Jordan got her start performing as a child in a local production of the operetta "The King and I." When she gets older, she'd like to continue singing and acting.

- A.J. Melendez, New Castle, DE
At the age of nine, A.J. performed "My Baby You" by Marc Anthony at the opera house in Wilmington, Delaware. When he grows up, he hopes to be a pop singer just like his idol Justin Guarini (of "American Idol").

- Katelyn Tarver, Glenville, GA
As part of the YMCA gymnastics team, Katelyn is not afraid of a little competition. She got started singing at her church and she would like to be a performer when she grows up.

- Taylor Thompson, Santa Maria, CA
At the age of five, Taylor performed at a strawberry festival. She'd like to continue singing and dancing or become a veterinarian.

- Tori Thompson, Santa Maria, CA
In pre-school, Tori sang a solo in a Christmas play. Someday she'd like to be a star – singing, dancing and acting with her own line of clothing.

- Danielle White, Bradenton, FL
At the age of three, Danielle's parents realized she liked to perform. When she grows up, she'd like to be a professional singer, perhaps a recording artist like her idol Mariah Carey.
