NBC has won its 10th Monday in 11 weeks among adults 18-49, led by the highest-rated summer edition of “Fear Factor” in nearly two years.

According to preliminary “fast affiliate-based” in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research, the Labor Day telecast of “Fear Factor” (4.5 rating, 13 share among adults 18-49, 10.9 million viewers overall) achieved the show’s highest 18-49 rating outside the traditional television season since Sept. 5, 2001. It’s the highest-rated “Fear Factor” encore telecast inside or outside the regular season since March 17, 2003.

Fear Factor” won the 8-9 p.m. ET hour Monday in virtually all key ratings categories and improved by a hefty 36 percent on its Labor Day 2002 rating among adults 18-49 (3.3/9). Last Monday’s margin of victory in 18-49 was a towering 73 percent over CBS’ second-place comedy rebroadcasts.
