Donald Trump isn't a doctor, however he offered a grim prognosis for The Celebrity Apprentice star Bret Michaels, who suffered a massive brain hemorrhage late last week.

"[Michaels is in] big, big trouble and the prognosis is not great," Trump told TMZ in a Monday report.

Michaels is one of seven contestants still in the running on NBC's current The Celebrity Apprentice installment, which was filmed last fall.

"He turns out to be an amazing competitor and ultimately that is the thing that could save his life," Trump told TMZ.

The 47-year-old former Rock of Love star -- who suffers from diabetes -- suffered the hemorrhage last week after complaining of severe headaches late Thursday night. He remains in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital.

While doctors are still trying to find the source of bleeding that caused Michaels to suffer the brain hemorrhage, Trump told TMZ he believed it is related to an onstage injury last June at the Tony Awards -- when he was struck in the head by a piece of scenery while performing with Poison.

However Dr. Keith Siller of New York University's Comprehensive Stroke Care Center recently stated the injury could not have caused the hemorrhage nearly a year after it occurred.
