Tori Spelling is apparently healing nicely after suffering severe burns from falling onto a Los Angeles Japanese restaurant's hibachi grill.

Since that Easter Sunday morning on April 5, Spelling's husband Dean McDermott said his wife has been "recovering" and is currently "doing pretty good," according to Extra.

McDermott added that the True Tori star is "at home resting, she's not here in New York with me."

Spelling's burns were bad enough that she had to get skin grafts, but the couple has said they're still not sure whether they want to press charges against the restaurant Benihana.

Spelling, 41, and McDermott, 48, had been enjoying brunch with their four children -- Liam, 8, Stella, 6, Hattie, 3, and Finn, 2 -- on the day of Spelling's accident. In fact, McDermott told Extra his marriage is "awesome" right now.

The pair has clearly worked through their issues since McDermott cheated on Spelling with a woman named Emily Goodhand while away on a business trip in December 2013. McDermott had entered rehab at the time of the scandal, which was documented on the reality series True Tori last summer. He noted he's over a year and four months sober at this point.

"It feels great, I've been in and out of 12 step programs before over the years, this time I'm really getting it. Really, really getting it and it saved my life, it really did and I'm so grateful for it," McDermott said.

"Tragedy and going through bad things -- sometimes it can really help and it really did [with Tori and I]. It really made us look at what was going on with our relationship. We took a lot of great stuff away from a horrible, horrible experience and our relationship is solid."

McDermott explained he learned a lot from making his relationship and problems so public.

"I wouldn't do it again. At the end of the day we're together, we're happy and we're working on our relationship and we have a beautiful family and a beautiful life, it all worked out in the end," noted the former Chopped Canada host, who has a new cookbook coming out.
