Andy and Emma were eliminated based on the combination of Dancing with the Stars judges' scores and home viewer votes that were cast during the live two-hour performance show.

"I've said it a bunch. [Dancing with the Stars] has changed my life. I'm a different person because of this show and this woman right here," Andy said, pointing to Emma.

"None of this would've happened without her. She knew how to use me, we created a thing together, and it was just TikToks and dancing -- and it exploded. It's crazy and it's been wonderful! I feel like a winner so I'm not worried."

According to Dancing with the Stars host Alfonso Ribeiro, the cast "received the most votes ever."

Prior to the elimination portion of the evening, Dancing with the Stars celebrated 20 years on the air and over 3,500 performances by bringing back original pro partners, former DWTS champions, and original host Tom Bergeron, who served as a guest judge alongside regular judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Each celebrity and professional pairing also danced in two rounds of competition.

The couples were required to perform to songs from iconic freestyle dances of the past and then participate in a relay dance.

For the relay round, the six couples were divided into three relay groups. Each celebrity danced with a former Mirrorball Trophy champion, and two pairs faced off at a time trying to win two bonus points.

After a fierce night of competition, three celebrities tied for first place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 42 out of 42 possible points: The Traitors Season 3 winner Dylan Efron, wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Whitney Leavitt.

Dylan and pro partner Daniella Karagach wowed the judges in the first round with their Argentine tango to "Ain't No Sunshine" inspired by Milo Manheim and Witney Carson's dance from the Season 27 finale in 2018.

Dylan and Daniella received a perfect score of 40 points from Derek, Carrie Ann, Bruno and Tom.

"That was your breakthrough moment by a long shot!" Derek shouted at Dylan.

"When people ask me who I'm surprised about, I say, 'Dylan.' Your improvement has been astonishing and the lifts were effortless. That routine was insane, Daniella!"

Tom said it looked like two pros were dancing together, and Carrie Ann noted it was the best Argentine tango she's ever seen on Dancing with the Stars.

Dylan also earned two extra judges' points after defeating Andy in the relay.

Dylan and Season 20 winner Rumer Willis outperformed Andy and Season 29 winner Kaitlyn Bristowe with their Viennese waltz.

Robert and pro partner Witney Carson also received a perfect score of 40 points for their foxtrot to "Footsteps in the Sand" inspired by Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough's freestyle on the Season 21 finale in 2015.

Bruno said it was a beautiful and touching tribute to Robert's late father Steve Irwin.

Carrie Ann said the dance was powerful and profound, and she let Robert know that he's a charismatic storyteller. Tom got choked up because he last saw Robert when he was 11-years-old.

Robert and Season 22 winner Xochitl Gomez also defeated social-media sensation Alix Earle and Season 33 winner Joey Graziadei in the relay with their jive, which added two points onto their score from the first round.

Whitney and pro partner Mark Ballas initially took the stage with a 40-point worthy Argentine tango to "Cell Block Tango" inspired by Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy's freestyle on Season 21 in 2022.

Carrie Ann gushed about how it was an incredibly passionate and precise dance, and Derek said it was dripping in elegance and control.

Derek also shouted about how it was silky and filled with artistry, musicality and theatrics.

Whitney and Mark had won immunity in the relay as a reward for finishing in the top spot on the judges' leaderboard last week. The pair therefore got to skip the relay, but they still earned two bonus points.

Alix and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished the night in fourth place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 40 points.

For Round 1, Alix and Val performed a foxtrot to "Singing in the Rain" inspired by Nev Schulman and Jenna Johnson's freestyle from Season 29 in 2020.

Bruno said it felt like he entered "ballroom heaven" and that Alix captured the beauty, glamour and sophistication of Hollywood's golden age.

Carrie Ann shared how she could see Alix letting go, and the judge complimented Alix's beautiful lines. Derek added how it was a clean, classic, smooth and "flawless" dance.

Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and pro partner Ezra Sosa secured fifth place on the leaderboard with a total of 39 points for the night.

Jordan and Ezra first danced a cha cha to "Get Up" by Ciara. The dance, inspired by Wayne Brady and Witney Carson's freestyle on Season 31 in 2022, received 37 judges' points.

Carrie Ann said it was a strong dance "but a little bit wild at times." She noticed that Jordan raised her shoulders sometimes.

Derek added how he loved seeing the texture in her body.

Jordan and Season 4 winner Apolo Anton Ohno won two bonus points during the relay round after facing off against film and TV actress Elaine Hendrix and Season 24 winner Rashad Jennings. Both pairs had to dance a quickstep routine.

Elaine and pro partner Alan Bersten therefore claimed sixth place on the leaderboard with 36 total points.

Elaine and Alan initially danced a salsa inspired by Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff's freestyle from the Season 3 finale in 2006.

Derek called Elaine "a sizzling salsa queen," and Carrie Ann applauded the pair on a "fantastic dance."

Carrie Ann also complimented Elaine's resilience in the competition and her ability to rise above injuries and adversity.

And finally, Andy and Emma landed in seventh -- and last -- place on the leaderboard with 29 total points.

Andy and Emma performed a 29-point worthy quickstep routine to "Puttin' on the Ritz" inspired by Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold's freestyle on the Season 25 finale in 2017.

Derek congratulated Andy on his movements, and Tom said the late Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman would've loved that performance.

Bruno added, "You did it! It was quick and there were plenty of steps!"

The remaining couples will compete in Dancing with the Stars' semifinals next week on "Prince Night."
