After Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor concludes next week, he will be competing in the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, People reported.

Soules, a 33-year-old farmer from Iowa, will be paired up with Season 19 champion Witney Carson. His participation will round out the 12-celebrity cast for next season, filling the final spot for a male contender.

Although ABC declined comment, Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron all but gave away the news during an appearance on Good Morning America late last month when the rest of the cast was revealed.

Bergeron hinted that the remaining contestant "couldn't rose -- I mean, rise -- so early to be here."

Soules will be following in the footsteps of The Bachelor stars before him: Sean Lowe and Jake Pavelka.

Melissa Rycroft, who competed on the thirteenth season of The Bachelor, also appeared on two separate seasons of Dancing with the Stars. She actually won Season 15 with her partner Tony Dovolani against show all-stars.

The Bachelor's Season 19 finale will air as a special three-hour event on Monday, March 9 at 8PM ET/PT.

Dancing with the Stars' twentieth season will then premiere one week later on Monday, March 16 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
