Dancing with the Stars' engaged couple Emma Slater and Sasha Farber are apparently pushing back their plans to wed.

"Wedding plans have kind of been put on the back burner," Emma admitted to reporters after Monday night's Season 24 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, according to People. "We're just so busy!"

Emma and Sasha dated on and off from 2011 to 2015. In December 2015, Sasha confirmed he was back on with Emma. He later proposed to Emma on October 4, 2016 during a live Dancing with the Stars results show after they performed a romantic routine together.

The couple reportedly first considered a Fall 2017 wedding, but their schedules are very hectic since they're both currently competing on Dancing with the Stars.

"We were thinking August, right? But it's kind of wedding season. A lot of people getting married over this summer," Emma revealed.

Fellow Dancing with the Stars pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are planning a wedding right now as well as judge Julianne Hough and fiance Brooks Laich.

"Selfishly, I think I kind of want to stand out a little bit. So now I'm thinking maybe next year," Emma added, although she swears she is not a "bridezilla."

"I kind of just want a fairy god mother to wave her wand and for me to turn up and have a great party and then get married and then kind of be done with it. Is that just anti-romantic?"

However, Emma still wants her wedding to be extremely special and memorable.

"I want to do something different," the blonde beauty noted. "I want to be that couple that makes people go, 'Oh my God! Did you go to that crazy wedding?' I definitely have some surprises for Sasha planned already -- but don't mention it to him!"

Emma and Sasha both have an excellent shot to win the Season 24 mirrorball trophy, as the bride-to-be is paired up with frontrunner Rashad Jennings and the groom-to-be is dancing with leaderboard topper Simone Biles. So do they have a competitive rivalry?

"We're very supportive of each other -- very loving," Emma explained to People. "He's my backbone and I feel like I'm his backbone. I want us to get first and second. But I want to be first!"
