CBS has announced it has renewed Big Brother for a fifteenth season which will air next summer.

Big Brother's fourteenth season, which just wrapped up last night, averaged 6.79 million total viewers, a 2.5/8 rating/share in the Adults 18-49 demographic, a 3.0/8 rating/share among Adults 25-54, and a 1.7/6 rating/share among Adults 18-34 throughout its three-times-a-week broadcast schedule.

Big Brother's fourteenth-season 90-minute finale, which aired Wednesday night at 9:30PM ET/PT, featured the Final 3 houseguests Dan Gheesling, Ian Terry and Danielle Murphree competing in the edition's concluding Head of Household challenge.

Affter winning the HoH competition, Ian, a 21-year-old engineering student from Pittsburgh, PA who currently resides in New Orleans, LA, selected Gheesling to join him in the Final 2. Ian then ended up winning Big Brother 14's $500,000 grand prize on Day 75 via a landslide 6-1 jury vote.
