Caitlyn Jenner has found an outlet to express her feelings on so many dramatic changes that have occurred in her life this past year.

The I Am Cait star is writing a memoir about her transgender transition, the New York Times reported Tuesday.

Jenner has inked a deal with Grand Central Publishing and teamed up with Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist Buzz Bissinger -- who worked with the former Olympian on her Vanity Fair spread last summer, which was how Jenner announced to the world she's a woman at heart.

"Things have been moving so quickly that it will be nice to slow things down a bit and take the proper time to reflect on this journey," Jenner, 66, said in a statement. "I couldn't pick a better team, in Grand Central and Buzz, to make sure this story is told with a lot of honesty and care."

Bissinger, 61, is a great person to help Jenner tell her story considering he also made national headlines for cross-dressing a few years back.

"I've also been open about cross-dressing and certain aspects of gender fluidity, and that created a bond," Bissinger told the Times, adding that Jenner approached him about penning the memoir after her Vanity Fair cover was published.

The memoir will cover Jenner's childhood, years as an athlete, his failed marriages, and finally transitioning from male to female.

"I made it clear to her before I agreed that everything has to be on the table, nothing can be left out, and I'm going to be interviewing dozens of other people," Bissinger told the newspaper. "It's her book, but it's going to be reported out to keep her honest. She's been incredibly open, and I think it has the potential to be a really important book."

The book is reportedly untitled right now but is slated for a Spring 2017 release.

The second season of I Am Cait debuts March 6 at 9PM ET/PT on E!
