Brooke Hogan is apparently having a hard time enrolling in college because of the camera crew she has in tow.

The 19-year-old aspiring singer was denied admission into the University of South Florida, Florida State University and the University of Central Florida after administrators at the three state schools deemed the nine-member camera crew documenting her for VH1's Brooke Hogan Knows Best reality series too distracting for students during year-end exams, the Palm Beach Post reported last week.

"The Hogan people approached us, but we declined," Grant Heston, a UCF spokesman, told the Post. "This is finals week. It's poor timing, and it's a commitment of our resources and time that we can't make right now."

UCF's decision isn't unprecedented, as the Post reported the university also denied former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee admission for NBC's Fall 2005 Tommy Lee Goes to College reality series, which subsequently filmed at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln

FSU has similarly refused to allow reality programs to film at the school out of fears it would be disruptive, the Post reported.

Despite being turned away by the three aforementioned schools, Hogan did tour Florida Atlantic University last Tuesday, the Post reported.  However administrators at the school have yet to decide whether she'd be allowed to film on campus if she eventually applies and is accepted.

"The university would not agree to an arrangement that would be disruptive to the academic setting," FAU spokeswoman Kristine McGrath told the Post.

Florida International University in Miami also agreed to allow Hogan to tour the school, according to the Post, adding it would charge a fee for the staff time needed to arrange the visit.

VH1 ordered Brooke Hogan Knows Best in January.

The series will follow Hogan as she lives life sans her currently separated protective parents -- Terrence "Hulk Hogan" Boella and Linda Marie Boella -- for the first time while also managing her singing career and finances on her own and attempting to avoid the pitfalls of Miami nightlife.
