"I actually just got back in the ring last week. We went in and trained," the WWE star said to E! News recently alongside her twin sister Nikki Bella.

"I feel like I'm a little far back, but I was able to do some of my missile drop kicks, which felt good," she continued. "It felt good to be back in the ring. I can't wait to make a comeback."

When asked when she expects to return to the squared circle, Brie replied, "I need more time. I'm hoping 2018 at some point."

Brie had previously announced that she was retiring from in-ring action in April 2016 following WrestleMania 32.

"I just felt like I should move on," she said at time amid plans to have children with her husband, retired wrestler and current Smackdown Live general manager Daniel Bryan.

Brie changed her tune, however, in October 2016. "I think when I have my first child...whenever that is, I would love to make a comeback to that ring," she said. "I think it would be awesome to actually be the real momma Bella.

Brie and Nikki are set to star alongside Bryan and John Cena in Season 2 of "Total Bellas" which premieres in September followed by Season 7 of "Total Divas."
