The 32-year-old wrestling star explained her desire to start a family with Daniel Bryan in the August issue of Latina after leaving the WWE in April.

"Bryan and I have had serious baby fever for the last year," she said.

"I just felt like I should move on to the next chapter of life together with him and not just have him be at home waiting for me while I live his dream."

Daniel, also a wrestler, retired from the WWE in February due to medical concerns.

Brie announced her retirement weeks later and later confirmed she was trying to get pregnant.

"Well, I guess the world should know I am trying," the star said April 14. "I'm not pregnant yet ... But yes, I am trying, so keep your fingers crossed."

Brie, who plans to return to wrestling after having a child, will keep busy with the E! reality series "Total Divas," which returns for a sixth season in the fall.

She and Nikki will also star on the spinoff "Total Bellas," which premieres Oct. 5.

"It was during a period of time when [Nikki's boyfriend John Cena] had shoulder surgery," Brie told Latina of the premise for the show.

"Three weeks later Nikki had to get her neck surgery, and a little after that, my husband was forced to retire. Bryan and I were like, 'Let's move in with Nikki and John and help them out,'" she revealed.

"Total Bellas" will see Brie, Daniel, Nikki and John live together under one roof for the first time. The series will follow the Bella Twins and their significant others in their personal and professional lives.
