The crime family drama BMF has been canceled after four seasons on Starz.
Set in the 1990s, the final season premiered in June and followed brothers Meech (Demetrius Flenory Jr.) and Terry Flenory (Da'Vinchi) as they launch their own hip-hop music label in Atlanta.
The show was based on a true story and was produced by rapper Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson. It co-starred Michael Chiklis, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Donnell Rawlings and Russell Hornsby.
"This season, the brothers must overcome insurmountable obstacles -- from the growing police presence to their revenge-driven oldest rival, it's hard to trust anyone... even each other," the cable network said in a synopsis. "As the pressure and tension mount, it leads to explosive conflict and resentment between the brothers."
