Miranda Lambert will reportedly grace The Voice with her presence next season, but she won't be working on husband Blake Shelton's team. In fact, she'll be working against him.

Lambert, a 30-year-old country singer, recently served as the mentor for coach Shakira's team of sixth-season contestants, Us Weekly reported.

"Shakira and Miranda got along well," a source told Us. "Blake joked that Miranda was helping another coach. But it was in good fun."

Lambert has had experience with reality singing competitions, as she was a finalist on Nashville Star's first season.

The Voice's sixth season will air next spring and feature coaches Shelton, Shakira, Usher and Adam Levine. Shakira and Usher will replace current fifth-season coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. The pairs are on rotation each season so the artists have time to work on their own music careers.

Shakira and Usher previously starred on a single season of The Voice, the show's fourth edition. Shelton and Levine, however, have appeared on every season of the reality singing competition thus far as the mainstay judges.

NBC is currently airing The Voice's fifth season and the competition only has eight artists remaining, two of which are on "Team Blake."
