Big Brother featured the week's Head of Household, Jessica Milagros, winning the Power of Veto and keeping her own nominations, Jackson Michie and Jack Matthews, the same heading into the next live eviction during Wednesday night's Season 21 episode on CBS.

After Jessica won the Power of Veto competition, she opted to keep both Michie, a 23-year-old server from Nashville, TN, who currently resides in Los Angeles, CA, and Jack, a 28-year-old fitness trainer from Chicago, IL, who currently resides in Tampa, FL, on the block going forward in order to ensure a strong competitor and one of the former Six Shooters leaves the house this week.

The Big Brother broadcast began on Day 45 with the Nomination Ceremony in which the Head of Household Jessica had nominated Jackson and Jack for eviction because they were both strong competitors.

Michie said his relationship with Jack was "nonexistent" because he had been burned, but he was looking forward to winning the Power of Veto. Jack, however, thought the week was going to end with Michie going home.

Analyse Talavera told Jack that she felt bad for Michie because no one was talking to him and he felt very alone. But Michie didn't plan to kiss ass or bow at anyone's feet, and he at least had Holly Allen by his side.

But Holly was upset because this probably never would have happened if Michie hadn't opened his mouth about her friendship with Kathryn Dunn outside of the house.

Since Holly had a really good relationship with Jessica, she tried to pull some strings to avoid a disaster from happening.

Jessica explained to Holly there were two alpha males in the house -- Michie, who was aggressive but still a gentleman, and Jack, an overconfident player who made decisions for the house without giving anyone else a say.

Jessica therefore said she wanted nominations to stay the same and Jack was her target this week.

But Christie Murphy still had her "Diamond Power of Veto" power to use from a "Whacktivity Competition," meaning she could grant the PoV winner the opportunity to name the replacement nominee instead of the Head of Household.

Jessica was afraid Christie would take her power away because she really wanted to see a big threat get evicted.

It then became time to pick players for the Veto Competition. In addition to the HoH, Jessica, and the two nominees, Michie and Jack, the houseguests selected to play were Kat, Tommy Bracco, and Nick Maccarone.

Kat was Jessica's "Houseguest's Choice," to play, and Tommy was Jack's pick.

Nick didn't really have loyalty to anyone in the house, so his strategy going forward was up in the air.

Christie hoped Jack would win the Power of Veto and then she could use her power to allow Jack to name the replacement nominee, which would result in a pawn being on the chopping block next to Michie. Christie said this was a way to ensure Michie would be going home.

Michie said his survival was up to himself because he didn't have much of a shot to stay with anyone on the block except for Jack. If Kat or Cliff got nominated, for example, Michie didn't think he had any hope.

It then became time for the Power of Veto competition, which required each player to sit in a mechanical chair, spin around fast, and then launch a rocket onto a mat in the hope of landing it on a puzzle piece with a high number of points. The houseguest to receive the fewest number of points in any given round would be eliminated.

Each time a player was eliminated, he or she would pick a prize -- which could turn out to be a punishment, the Power of Veto, or something else -- but the houseguest eliminated next would have the chance to trade his or her prize with the player or players who had been ousted beforehand.

Kat was out first and picked the Power of Veto, and then Jack selected a trip to Hawaii. Jack traded with Kat for the PoV, and then Tommy was out and was given an "Angry Alien" -- which would follow him around for 24 hours -- which he traded with Jack.

Michie was out next and picked the "BB Explorer," meaning he'd have to go on missions in the house throughout the week, but he traded that with Tommy for the Power of Veto.

Nick finished the competition in second place and received $5,000, which he chose to keep. Jessica ultimately won the PoV competition and claimed "Area 21," which would force her to serve as a doctor in the house of aliens stopping by.

Since Jessica won the Power of Veto and she was already in charge of picking the replacement nominee, Christie's "Diamond" power was officially dead and expired. Christie, however, thought she could rally votes to save Jack.

Michie said he was on "no man's island." Michie admitted his game had been blown up, he lost his best friend, and his name was being dragged through the mud.

After the competition, Jessica spoke to Christie and Kat about whom to evict, and Christie pointed out Analyse, Tommy and Nick were all voting out Michie -- which shocked Jessica, who was under the impression Nick was down to evict Jack.

Christie was starting to get the feeling, however, Jack was going home, and she said he didn't deserve it. Christie said Michie was "the common denominator" of lies and drama in the house.

Michie overheard a conversation between Christie and Jack, so he tried to stir the pot and cause some commotion by telling Jessica, Holly and Kat that he had overheard Nick saying no one should push Jessica to do what they want or else she'd take Michie off the block.

Nick suddenly became best friends with Jack and was cuddling up with Tommy, according to Jessica, who then considered taking Michie off the block and nominating Nick instead.

Tommy then received his punishment and had to dress as a lifesize rocket with a huge, heavy helmet on his head. Whenever he heard his call of duty, he had to run into every room and yell the speed at which he was traveling -- light, sound or smell.

It ended up being a punishment for the whole house because light required him to shine flashlights at people, sound required him to blow horns, and smell forced him to release odor into the air.

It then became time for the Veto Meeting, and Jessica announced she had decided not to use the PoV in order to keep her nominations the same.

Christie intended to fight for Jack, while both Michie and Jack planned to rally as many votes as possible to send their opponent out of the house.
