Big Brother 21 - Episode 33

The Big Brother broadcast began with a flashback of Christie Murphy walking out the door. Her exit left Tommy crying in the Diary Room about feeling alone and playing the game without his best friend.

Tommy said he didn't think he could trust anyone in the house, while Michie felt karma had been achieved through Christie's eviction. Michie said Christie had backstabbed him one too many times and he was going to pray for her.

Footage then flashed back to Nicole Anthony celebrating her first HoH win and making the Top 5 of Big Brother on her own by being good at puzzles. At the time, Nicole said she could choose between joining forces with Christie and Tommy going forward or Michie and Holly Allen.

Michie told the cameras Christie being on the chopping block for the fifth -- and hopefully the final time -- was the best thing he had heard all season long.

Nicole was then shown warning Tommy he "might see the block" because she was trying to figure out what would be best for her game. She then nominated Tommy and Christie for eviction, after which Cliff won the Power of Veto and opted to keep nominations the same.

Tommy thought there were bigger targets left in the house than Christie or himself. Tommy thought this decision would ultimately cost Nicole $500,000.

Nicole was hoping Christie wouldn't be mad at her so she could keep her jury vote. Nicole insisted her decision was out of respect for Christie because she's a fierce competition as well as a strategic and social threat.

Christie and Tommy didn't understand why Nicole would side with Michie and Holly because Christie said Michie was going to win. Christie told Nicole to her face that she wanted her to win the game, but then Christie asked Tommy to win Big Brother for her.

Christie and Tommy had a horrible time saying goodbye to each other, but she lit a fire under Tommy's butt to win the next Head of Household competition.

Tommy told the cameras on Day 79, however, he actually felt relieved Christie was gone because he was still in the house. Tommy didn't think his game was over just because Christie's time in the house had ended.

Tommy felt like an outsider in the house, but he congratulated Nicole on her victory and said he was so happy for her. Nicole was more than thrilled to have received pictures of her family and dog as well as unicorn slippers in her HoH basket.

Nicole then told Cliff, Holly and Michie she had stayed true to their Final 4 deal. Michie said his loyalty to that Final 4 was also "unwavering," and so he wanted Tommy out next.

Since Nicole couldn't compete in the next Head of Household competition, Cliff noted it would be three people against one trying to win it for the group.

However, if Tommy won the next HoH competition, Cliff thought he and Nicole would be safe because Tommy might take their side and target the bigger threats in Michie and Holly.

Tommy felt completely alone in the house and Nicole apologized for putting himself in that position. Nicole promised Tommy that he wasn't alone and told him to go out there and win the next HoH.

Nicole said in the Diary Room the best case scenario would be for Tommy to win HoH and then take a shot at her alliance with Holly and Michie so she and Cliff wouldn't have to. Nicole joked about how she had an evil streak inside of her that was coming out.

Tommy knew he had to win the next HoH competition, and so he intended to fight hard for it.

The Head of Household competition dubbed "BB Flix and Chill" was hosted by Chris "Swaggy C" Williams and Bayleigh Dayton from Big Brother's 20th season.

The participating houseguests were required to listen to a group of friends talking about which movie they'd like to watch out of three examples provided on a big screen. What was said provided clues for the one movie the friends had all agreed upon watching.

The first player to lock in the correct answer in any given round would receive one point, and the player to earn five points would become the new Head of Household.

However, some clues applied to more than one movie poster, so the houseguests had to be careful.

In the end, Michie won the Head of Household competition, with Cliff placing second.

Michie celebrated making the Final 4 of Big Brother, gushing about how he and Holly weren't going anywhere.

Tommy predicted he'd see the chopping block for the second time this week, but he called himself a survivor.

Tommy therefore planted some seeds of doubt in Michie's head about Nicole and Cliff. Tommy said Nicole and Cliff were talking to Christie and himself about the same things the pair had been talking to Michie and Holly about.

Michie acknowledged there were two seats and three people left, but Tommy said if Michie couldn't see that there were bigger threats in the house, he didn't deserve to win this game.

Tommy explained Cliff was the biggest threat in the house and anyone sitting next to him in the end wouldn't have a chance.

Cliff then told Nicole in private that if Tommy ended up winning the Power of Veto, one of them would go up on the block and have to go home. Nicole was starting to regret not sending Michie home instead of Christie when she had the chance.

Nicole was having regrets, so she planned to give the next Power of Veto competition her all.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Michie announced he had decided to nominate Tommy and Cliff for eviction because he had "slim pickings" but was "damn proud" to be there with everyone left.

Michie admitted Tommy was his target because he planned to stay loyal to Cliff and Nicole. But the Power of Veto competition ahead could change everything.

"If this is the last comp that I'll play in the Big Brother house, then I'm going to give one million percent. I'm going to fight with every single thing that I've got, and I'm going to go to the Final 4, baby!" Tommy told the cameras.
