Big Brother houseguest Paul Abrahamian became the latest Head of Household and then nominated Bridgette Dunning and pawn Paulie Calafiore for eviction during Sunday night's Season 18 broadcast on CBS.

The Big Brother broadcast picked up right where last Thursday night's episode had left off, with the houseguests competing in an HoH competition in which they had to roll a ball down a squiggly plank as far as possible to hopefully land it in a red box at the end or a slot numbered 1-21 along the way. The person to land his or her ball in the red box -- or at least the highest numbered slot -- would win.

Paulie threw the HoH competition so he wouldn't get any more blood on his hands, and in the end, Paul landed his red ball in the 21 slot and won. Da.Vonne Rogers was just glad Nicole Franzel didn't win and vice versa.

Paul's No. 1 target was Bridgette because he wanted to finish the job -- meaning taking out Frank Eudy and Bridgette one after the next. However, Paulie had promised Bridgette he'd watch out for her and keep her off the chopping block, and the brother of Cody Calafiore planned to keep his word.

Paulie wanted to go after Da.Vonne Rogers because he thought she was an unpredictable drama-starter and Bridgette could become a number for his alliance. However, Da'Vonne trusted Paul and had built a strong friendship with him thus far in the game. 

Paul then asked Victor Arroyo and Corey Brooks if one of them would be the pawn next to Bridgette on the chopping block. Paul needed a strong competitor to put up a fight in the upcoming Power of Veto competition. Victor didn't feel comfortable getting nominated since he had already been booted from the house, and Corey just wasn't onboard.

Paulie then shared his plan with Corey and James Huling, saying Da'Vonne was trying to pit people against one another. Paulie also noted Bridgette was a different and better player to have around now that Frank was gone. James, however, had a good relationship with Da'Vonne and she trusted him, so he hoped Paul wouldn't agree to the plan.

After talking with Paulie, Paul considered backdooring Da'Vonne because if he nominated her right off the bat, she'd flip out all week and make a scene. Paul agreed Da'Vonne was unpredictable and had to be taken out soon. It also didn't hurt Paul would look like a hero in others' eyes for making the big move. No matter what, the guys were excited to get rid of a girl.

Nicole initially volunteered to be Paul's pawn, but after reflecting on things, she became very nervous about it. As a result, Paulie stepped up to the plate and was fine with getting nominated next to Bridgette on the block.

Bridgette was well aware she was a target, so she tried to convince Paul that Nicole and Da'Vonne were shady. Paulie defended Nicole, saying she kept her mouth shut, but backed Bridgette up about Da'Vonne, insisting she loved to stir stuff up in the house.

Paul therefore attempted to build some trust with Bridgette in the case Da'Vonne really did go home at the next live eviction.

The season's first BB Care Package then dropped from the sky in the backyard. America sent it to Natalie Negrotti, and inside the package was a "Never Not Pass," meaning she would never be a "Have Not" for the rest of the season.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Paul nominated Bridgette and Paulie for eviction. Paul said Bridgette had been a "hot topic" in the house because of her relationship with Frank and so he needed to "get the job done." He also announced Paulie was his pawn and needed to win the PoV.

Although Paulie was confident Da'Vonne would be their target, Paul confessed in the Diary Room he was determined to take out Bridgette.

"This is not friendship, Paul, not at all," Bridgette told the cameras.
