Big Brother's houseguests evicted James Huling and Meg Maley in a special double eviction episode Thursday night on CBS.

The broadcast began with Julia Nolan and Meg on the chopping block together. The HoH, Vanessa Rousso, had set it up so the house would target Meg since she was more of a threat than Julia.

James told Meg, his closest ally, not to throw in the towel just yet because they didn't know where John McGuire and Steve Moses stood. James thought people might want to break up Austin Matelson and the twins -- Julia and Liz Nolan. The threesome have an alliance with Vanessa called "Austin's Angels."

But Vanessa also had side alliances with John and Steve. In fact, she made a Final 2 deal with John, who intended to honor it.

However, John started considering getting revenge on Austin and the twins for previously taking him out of the game by flipping the house and working with James and Meg to get rid of Julia. On the other side of that coin though, John would lose Vanessa's trust.

Steve also attempted to talk Vanessa into getting rid of Julia. He explained they'd make the Final 2 if they switched sides but they would probably not have a good shot at the Final 2 if they continued working with Austin and the twins. Steve thought if they promised to vote Julia out, Meg and James would come around to working with them.

Also, if Vanessa evicted Meg, James would absolutely come after her next week if he won Head of Household. Steve's pitch didn't work because Vanessa said he lost his mind if he actually believes James would work with them.

Steve had a huge decision to make -- whether to vote with Vanessa or against her. He found the choice agonizing and even threw up about it.

When it became time for the live eviction, everyone voted to oust Meg from the Big Brother house. James was the only person who voted for Julia.

In her post-eviction interview, Meg said she doesn't regret taking out Shelli Poole when she could've gotten rid of Vanessa early on. Meg figured she'd end up in the same position either way.

The houseguests -- minus Vanessa, who as the outgoing HoH, was deemed ineligible to compete -- then participated in the next HoH competition. They had to quickly study photos and then answer true or false questions about them. The last person standing would win the title, and that person was Liz.

The houseguests subsequently gathered again for a Nomination Ceremony. Liz opted to nominate James and John because she had to remain loyal to the people she had been working with for a while.

James and John had a chance to save themselves in the Power of Veto competition. Each player was required to roll two balls down a giant boomerang into one of many numbered slots at the other end. A final score was calculate by adding up the numbers from the slots the balls landed in, and whoever got the highest score wins.

Julia ended up winning the PoV. At the Veto Meeting, Julia declared she wanted to honor Liz's nominations by keeping them the same. It also stopped her from getting more blood on her hands.

At the second live eviction of the night, the houseguests cast a unanimous vote to eliminate James from the game. James wasn't surprised at all because he knew he was a huge threat.
