CBS announced today that 'Big Brother 3' won all three of its time periods in viewers, households and most key demographics from the week ending September 1, 2002. With Labor Day weekend, this is traditionally one of the lowest viewed weeks of the year.

'Big Brother 3 Wednesday' (6.0/11, 9.23m) won its special 8:00-9:00 PM time period in households, viewers, adults 25-54, boomers, women 25-54, men 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 -- topping NBC and ABC combined in adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Compared to the time period last year, BB3W (S) was up +57% in both adults 25-54 and women 25-54, +38% in boomers, +63% in men 25-54, +83% in adults 18-49 and +121% in adults 18-34.

'Big Brother 3 Thursday' (5.3/9, 8.44 m) was first in households, viewers, adults 18-49, adults 25-54, women 25-54, men 25-54 and second in adults 18-34 -- and improved the time period compared to last year +4% in households, +64% in adults 25-54, +52% in boomers, +100% in women 25-54, +35% in men 25-54, +76% in adults 18-49 and +94% in adults 18-34.

'Big Brother 3 Saturday' (3.9/8, 6.32m from 8:00-9:00 PM) was first in its time period in households, viewers, adults 25-54, boomers, women 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and second in men 25-54. Compared to the same night last year ("Touched by an Angel"), BB3S was up +61% in adults 25-54, +45% in boomers, +36% in women 25-54, +109% in men 25-54, +71% in adults 18-49, +189% in adults 18-34 and even in households.
