Bette Midler is teasing the "brilliant" script for the third installment of the beloved Hocus Pocus film franchise.
"They sent a script, and a lot of it was brilliant," Midler said when Cohen asked her if there would be a third film. "So I got very excited and now we're sort of like trying to figure out what it is and how it -- where it's going to be and how much it's gonna cost and all those logistical things."
She didn't hint at when the next chapter of Hocus Pocus might arrive, but the sequel came out in 2022.
The first film arrived in 1993.
She also paid tribute to the late actress Diane Keaton."I met her a long, long time ago, a girlfriend introduced me to her and I was -- I've always adored her," Midler recalled. "She was so unique, so special, so completely who she was and inimitable, because I used to go home and try to do that style that she had...She was an extraordinary, extraordinary personality."
Keaton died Saturday at age 79.
