Jason Mesnick has confirmed he got engaged to Molly Malaney on Tuesday night in New Zealand.

"He is engaged," a representative for The Bachelor thirteenth-season star told Us Weekly in a Wednesday report.

Mesnick and Malaney have been dating since he dumped his originally selected bachelorette Melissa Rycroft on-air in favor of Malaney during a January taping of the season's After the Final Rose special.

"They haven't set a date or made any firm plans," a source told Us about wedding plans.

In addition, Malaney has reportedly agreed to move from Milwaukee to Seattle -- where Mesnick lives with his young son Tyler.

"They're just enjoying being together," a source told Us.

Although the proposal presumably wasn't part of the tour's scheduled agenda, Mesnick and Malaney were in New Zealand as part of a promotional tour sponsored by Tourism NZ, according to New Zealand's Waikato Times.

"We struggle to be noticed in the United States," George Hickton, the tourism organization's chief executive, told the Times.  "[Mesnick] likes New Zealand and he's done a good job of promoting us."

While Mesnick may have already liked New Zealand, Malaney had previously had less fond memories of the country, which served as the filming location for last fall's conclusion of The Bachelor's thirteenth season that aired on ABC early this year.

Malaney's New Zealand trip had ended with Mesnick rejecting her and getting engaged to Rycroft during the season's Final Rose Ceremony.
