Bachelor in Paradise bachelorettes Rachel Recchia and Jess Girod have dished details about what Paradise was like behind the scenes of filming.

Rachel, who starred on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season, and Jess, who competed for Zach Shallcross on The Bachelor's 27th season, were both original cast members of Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season when it premiered September 28.

Just two episodes into the ABC The Bachelor spinoff, Rachel is already paired up with Sean McLaughlin, and Jess appears smitten with Blake Moynes.

But the women revealed fun Bachelor in Paradise details, according to BachelorNation.com, that viewers don't get to see on the show during recent Q&A sessions they conducted simultaneously -- while watching Episode 2 together -- via Instagram.

For instance, Rachel and Jess shared what they preferred to eat on the beach in Mexico.

"On the beach, you can literally eat whatever you want. I loved the shrimp, and every morning I would get a green juice. It was my favorite," Rachel said.

Jess complimented Rachel on eating "healthy," and then she shared, "I would get a basket of fries and I would have to fight everyone off because they would all try to get my fries and it was just for me."

The women told their followers that their favorite outfits from the season happened to be what they both wore to the first Rose Ceremony.

As fans may recall, Jess wore a red and black floral mini dress, and Rachel wore a gold, sparkly mini dress.

Another fan asked Rachel and Jess what they liked to drink in Paradise.

"I would have a strawberry mojito with whipped cream on top," Jess revealed, and Rachel added, "It's just champagne for me, every time."

Rachel also shared an update on the breast reduction she had in March.

"My scars were fully healed by the time I went to Paradise," Rachel said.

"I was supposed to keep them out of the sun, which I tried to do for the most part. There were a couple moments where they are out a little, but yeah, they were fully healed by the time I went to the beach."

The bachelorettes also shared that all of the women apparently slept in the same room.

"We all stay in the same room in bunk beds. Me and [Eliza Isichei] were top bunk and below us were [Kat Izzo] and [Mercedes Northup] and then Jess was in a bed at the end of that," Rachel revealed.

Jess chimed in, saying, "This was one of my favorite things about Paradise -- being able to be within two feet of all the girls and having sleepovers!"

The women also pointed out how there were fewer crabs on the beach than in past Bachelor in Paradise seasons.

While it appears Rachel and Jess were well on their way to finding love, Rachel also had to deal with some of her The Bachelorette exes on the beach, including Aven Jones.

One of Rachel's followers asked her, "Was it awkward seeing so many exes from your season on the beach?"

The Bachelorette Season 19 star responded by chugging her glass of wine.

Rachel conducted a different Q&A via Instagram Stories earlier this month.

Rachel was questioned if she wishes ABC had given her a solo The Bachelorette season instead of making her share it with Gabby Windey.

"Never," Rachel replied at the time. "The best memories I have were spent with her and I would do it all over again!!!!!!!"

Rachel shared in September how her time on Bachelor in Paradise was "very real" for her following her stints on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

"I'm in Paradise and it's so funny because it started off as something we would all kind of talk about or joke about. And then, it turned into something very real. I can say my time in Paradise was very real," Rachel said during an appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, which is co-hosted by Bachelor in Paradise spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

Given Rachel's first two attempts on The Bachelor franchise ended in heartbreak, she admitted that she had low expectations going into Paradise.

But once the former flight instructor arrived on the beach, she said she didn't hold back.

"When I was there, I was serious about... [being] like, 'Let's see if this could work!'" Rachel shared.

"Going into this, [I was] like, 'If anything can work, it's going to be Paradise.' Let's try it!" Rachel said, adding, "It's worked for so many people... I was very much there to find someone, genuinely, so we'll see if I do. Who knows?!"

This past summer, ABC released a trailer for Bachelor in Paradise that showed Rachel kissing Jordan Vandergriff, a suitor whom she had sent packing during Week 2 of her joint The Bachelorette season with Gabby.

"This is crazy -- getting a second chance," Rachel tells the cameras. "I think things happen for a reason."

The trailer certainly had its wild, crazy and emotional moments, but Rachel actually thought it was pretty tame.

Rachel explained on the podcast, "I thought [the trailer] was very underwhelming compared to what actually happened, which is a good thing! I watched it, and I was like, 'Wait, where is the drama? Where is the crying?'"

"There is so, so much more to see [this season]," she elaborated. "I am very excited for everyone to see it. I think what aired [in the trailer] is completely just very mild compared to what actually happened."
