Bachelor in Paradise bachelor Brayden Bowers has teased the demise of his relationship with Kat Izzo and a potential new romance with Rachel Recchia on the show's ninth season.

Kat and Brayden coupled up early on Bachelor in Paradise and seemed to spark a special connection. Kat, for instance, appreciated Brayden's style -- and even his earrings -- and their quirky personalities complemented one another.

Brayden told Us Weekly that "it felt really good" to be accepted by Kat for who he is, especially after he was portrayed as a villain on Charity Lawson's The Bachelorette season.

"A lot of times people kind of try to dim me down. I feel like when they meet me, they're like, 'Oh, we got to change this about you. I don't know if this is going to work.' I mean, that's kind of what I ran into with [Kylee Russell]," Brayden shared.

"[Kylee was] like, 'Maybe not the dangly earrings, maybe some studs or something like that.' And so when Kat kind of just was like, 'No, I love your look. I wouldn't want to change anything,' it kind of just made me feel good because, you want someone that just doesn't want to change you."

While Kat and Brayden's relationship was full steam ahead, Kat admitted to former The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown during a special bonfire Q&A session that she'd still be interested in meeting -- and possibly pursuing -- bachelors Tyler Norris and Tanner Courtad in Paradise.

But when Brayden was asked whom else he'd like to date on Bachelor in Paradise, he confessed that he was totally invested in his romance with Kat.

"I'm the type of guy [that], when I make a decision to get to know somebody, I'm kind of committed to one person," Brayden explained.

"I don't do well with dating multiple people at once. And I think that that was one of the things that was hard about Paradise -- the aspect of dating multiple people at once, because it's just, like, how do you truly get to know someone when you're getting to know five other people?"

Brayden told Us that he simply liked Kate and so he wanted to see their potential through.

"I knew I liked her. I knew I had a connection and I was going to ride that road until it ended... or until it ends," Brayden teased.

A preview for Bachelor in Paradise's upcoming episode on Thursday, October 12 shows both Tyler and Tanner arriving in Paradise.

Based on the footage of Kat -- who previously competed for Zach Shallcross on The Bachelor's 27th season -- she accepted a date with Tanner.

"I know that Paradise is really open and doesn't have rules, but for me, I have my own rules and I think that's kind of more so just what I followed," Brayden shared of his reaction to Kat testing the dating waters on Bachelor in Paradise.

"I can't hold other people to that, but that's what I hold myself to."

Brayden insisted he has "no animosity" towards Kat for apparently leaving him behind, but they recently got into a heated exchange on Twitter.

Kat tweeted earlier this month, "You would think... for someone who is obsessed with my every move would've taken some pointers on how to have some class."

And Brayden replied, "Your PR person told me to let you know you should take this down... doesn't match the look you're going for."

Brayden, however, suggested fans shouldn't look too much into the drama.

"It was just me looking out for a fellow cast member," Brayden noted. "It was just all in good fun. Just teamwork makes the dream work."

It appears that once Brayden and Kat's romance crumbles in Paradise, he'll set his eyes on Rachel, who co-starred on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season alongside Gabby Windey.

As fans may recall, Brayden and Rachel sat next to each other during the live finale of Charity's The Bachelorette season, and host Jesse Palmer hinted something might've been going on between them.

"Rachel, first of all, is an absolutely beautiful woman," Brayden gushed to Us.

"She is carefree and fun, and she's super intelligent. I mean she's a freaking pilot. That's pretty freaking cool. There's a lot of things about her that [are] really amazing."

Brayden elaborated, "And so I think the better question would be instead of what are the good traits about her, what are some of the bad traits that wouldn't make you date her? Because I feel like those are very few. So she's a great girl."

On Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season, Rachel is currently coupled up with Sean McLaughlin, the Ken Doll of Charity's The Bachelorette season.

As for what's to come on Paradise, Brayden teased, "You're going to see a lot of hot and sweaty Rose Ceremonies, like, the one you just saw. It was terrible. And you'll see me sweating over some other things too. So it's definitely going to be a wild ride."

For Rachel's part, she recently shared how her time on Bachelor in Paradise was "very real" for her following her stints on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

"I'm in Paradise and it's so funny because it started off as something we would all kind of talk about or joke about. And then, it turned into something very real. I can say my time in Paradise was very real," Rachel said during an early September appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, which is co-hosted by Bachelor in Paradise spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

The first Bachelor in Paradise trailer also showed Rachel kissing one of her Week 2 The Bachelorette eliminees, Jordan Vandergriff.
