American Idol has announced the dates and locations of its American Idol Live! 2010 concert tour.

The 49-date North American tour will kick-off July 1 in Auburn Hills, MI and continue over the next two-and-a-half months before coming to a close on September 14 in Pittsburgh, PA.

The tour will feature performances by American Idol Top 10 ninth-season finalists Didi Benami, Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze, Andrew Garcia, Casey James, Aaron Kelly, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Katie Stevens, and Timothy "Tim" Urban.

"We are all looking forward to this year's American Idol Live! tour," said American Idol creator Simon Fuller.
