American Idol is in talks with talent manager Scooter Braun to judge the reality singing competition's upcoming thirteenth season, according to reports.

Braun has met with producers and returning judge Jennifer Lopez to discuss his potential Idol participation, Us Weekly reported.

Braun, 32, has managed big musicians in his career such as Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Wanted, Ariana Grande, and Psy. The only alleged catch is that if Braun gets offered the gig, he would want the option to manage Idol 's thirteenth-season contestants, which currently belongs to show creator Simon Fuller.

Lopez, who served on the show's tenth and eleventh-season judging panels before taking last season off to focus on her music career, is reportedly onboard with the idea of adding Braun as a judge. In addition to Lopez, Braun would be joining confirmed judge Keith Urban on the panel.

"Jennifer loves Scooter and feels he'd be an excellent choice," a source told Us. "She would love him to be a judge."

According to TMZ, however, Braun enjoys his privacy and going unnoticed in public. Sources told the website he likes the fact he's able "to go to the grocery store under the radar."

Dr. Luke, a 39-year-old American songwriter and record producer formally known as Lukasz Gottwald, is also reportedly negotiating his way onto the judging panel.
