Lopez, Urban and Connick Jr. selected 10 guys to perform live last night on the American Idol stage and the five guys who were not chosen to sing were automatically ousted from the competition.

The five guys who were eliminated from the competition are Jordan Brisbane, a 16-year-old from Savannah, GA; Ethan Harris, a 20-year-old from Garrattsville, NY; Briston Maroney, a 16-year-old from Knoxville, TN; Casey Thrasher, a 23-year-old from Tuscaloosa, AL; and Maurice Townsend, a 26-year-old from Grand Rapids, MI.

The male singers who performed last night and therefore made it into the Top 10 guys are: Malcolm Allen, a 21-year-old from Wrightsville, AR; Ben Briley, a 24-year-old from Gallatin, TN; C.J. Harris, a 23-year-old from Jasper, AL; Caleb Johnson, a 22-year-old from Asheville, NC; Spencer Lloyd, a 19-year-old from Bryant, AR; George Lovett, a 24-year-old from Baltimore, MD; Alex Preston, a 20-year-old from Mont Vernon, NH; Dexter Roberts, a 22-year-old from Fayette, AL; Sam Woolf, a 17-year-old from Bradenton, FL; and Emmanuel Zidor, a 24-year-old from Miami, FL.

Briley, Johnson, Preston, and Woolf stood out from the pack for having excellent performances.

American Idol will continue its new "Rush Week" format Thursday night with its first live thirteenth-season results show from 8-9PM ET/PT. The Top 10 finalists -- the five girls and five guys determined by America -- will be revealed, and then Lopez, Urban and Connick Jr. will be afforded one "Wild Card" pick each, making the Top 10 a Top 13.
