Zap2It.com reports that FOX has set audition dates in seven cities for the second "Idol" competition. The show will stop in several towns known for the music they produce, including Nashville, Detroit -- home of Motown -- and Austin, Texas.

As with the first competition, auditioners must be between the ages of 16 and 24 as of Oct. 19, and have documentation to prove it. Those under 18 have to be accompanied by a legal guardian. Anyone who already has an agent or who made the top 30 on the first "American Idol" is ineligible -- so there will be no second chances for Adriel, Alexis and the like.

Auditioners will sing one song a capella from a list provided by the show's staff. Participants should be prepared to stay in the audition city for five days in case they get a callback. Complete rules and more information about auditions are available at www.idolonfox.com.
