UPN announced Thursday (Feb. 21) that it will carry repeats of 'The Amazing Race 2' on Friday nights beginning March 15. After broadcasting the first two episodes back-to-back, the netlet will air the repeats at 9 p.m. ET as part of a block of unscripted programming that also includes the new series 'Under One Roof.' The UPN repeats two days later will allow fans of the show to catch episodes they may miss the first time around, as well as draw viewers to 'Under One Roof,' in which five families travel to Fiji to compete for a beachfront home there. It premieres at 8 p.m. ET Friday, March 22.

Viacom, which owns UPN and CBS, has consolidated the operations of the two networks under CBS president and CEO Les Moonves. The re-airing of 'Amazing Race 2' on UPN is the first visible sign of the integration. "When we first brought the complementary assets of CBS and UPN together, we said we would look for unique opportuinities where each would benefit from the association," Moonves says. "We think this is an exciting win-win opportunity for 'The Amazing Race,' for both networks and for their respective viewers."
