Alix Earle has revealed that her mother, Alisa Earle, was diagnosed with breast cancer while the TikTok star was competing on Dancing with the Stars during its 34th season late last year.

The video showed Alix and her younger sister, Ashtin, spending time with Alix's mother in the hospital.
Footage captured Alix doing her mother's hair, holding her hand, and enjoying ice cream and beverages with her mom and sister. (Ashtin has a different biological mother).
Alix wrote "F!ck Cancer" over the clip, while a voiceover said, "Strong women never give up. We might need a coffee, we might need a good cry, we might need a day in bed, but we will always come back stronger."
Alix captioned the post, "Go momma! So proud and inspired by you. [Swirling-hearts emoji]. No challenge you can't face and come back stronger .. I love you! #breastcancerawareness."
One fan wrote in the comments of Alix's TikTok upload, "This is what [Alix] was struggling with during DWTS."
Alix replied, "We found out abt halfway through the season and she still showed up every week. [Heart emoji]."
On January 7, Alix revealed via social media that her mother was "in the hospital" for an operation.
"I may or may not talk more about this this week. I just want to see how everything goes and, first of all, just be there for her," she shared with her fans via social media.
"It's also something that, during my travels, I had a few cries. But her boyfriend and my sister have been with her."
The social media influencer finished Dancing with the Stars' 34th season in second place with pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

Alix previously described her near three-month journey on Dancing with the Stars as "emotional" in November.
"There were a lot of points throughout the season that I was sitting with myself and in these thoughts and started to realize these things or realize what I wanted in life. And I think as those thoughts would come up, I think it was scary," Alix admitted.
"There was just a lot that happened in my personal life throughout the season that I am happy -- I think -- that I didn't share for television, which I thought about at times," she continued.
She added, "But I didn't want to just say things for the sake of making a really entertaining package and putting these stories in other people's hands. So I am proud of myself for that."
Alix later shared that she and Ashtin had spent the day after Christmas with Alix's mom in the hospital meeting with doctors. Alix mentioned how her mom was "going through something" with her health.
"That day was honestly a little hard for me," Alix said in December.

"This was also something we found out about while I was on Dancing with the Stars, so that was just another one of the things I was dealing with."
