Ali Fedotowsky is apparently taking baby steps when it comes to getting ready to start dating again.

"I haven't done that in a year. I wouldn't. I just really wanted to focus on myself and I'm being more open to that now."
Fedotowsky -- who announced she and ex-fiance Roberto Martinez were splitting in November 2011 after getting engaged on The Bachelorette's sixth-season finale broadcast, which aired in August 2010 -- said it really took time for her heart to heal after things didn't work out with Martinez.
"I needed this year. I needed it to make sure that I was really OK with me -- and I am! I really feel happy with me. I think that's the most important thing, and now I'm ready to find him," Fedotowsky told Us, adding that she isn't, however, interested in dating any men from The Bachelor family.
"I've only dated one, and that was Roberto. I guess if you counted [The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka]. Nah, I wouldn't really count that, though. Unless I randomly fell in love right away, and we knew it was true, I wouldn't actively try to do that."
Although Fedotowsky seems to be moving on from her failed relationship with Martinez, reports have been circulating that the pair hooked up at Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum's December 1 wedding, which aired as a special entitled The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.'s Wedding on December 16 on ABC.
