Hoping to capitalize on the recent surge of popularity in his family -- Robin Thicke, anyone? -- Alan Thicke will star in a 14-episode "reality sitcom" for TVGN, absurdly titled, "Unusually Thicke."

"Unusually Thicke" will feature the former "Growing Pains" actor, his "beautiful, spicy and much younger" third wife Tanya, and his 16-year-old son.

"[The show] combines my two favorite things: family ... and laughing at my family," Thicke said in a statement.

Thicke described the show as "reality-ish," probably in the sense that it's semi-scripted.

"This series is my foray into the 'reality-ish' television world where viewers will meet the lovable, unpredictable, and often challenging people who live with the real Jason Seaver," Thicke said of his "Growing Pains" character.

"We take our relatable real-life stories and blow them up to amuse and amaze, tossing in a handful of celebrity friends along the way."

Robin Thicke will made an appearance, along with a host of other famous TV dads, friends like John Stamos, Bob Saget and David Hasselhoff.
