Like everywhere else, Buffalo can be a lonely place for singles -- which is where Novak, a local resident, comes in.  For the last six years, she's been playing the role of a modern-day cupid for the city's single population and Confessions of a Matchmaker will give viewers a glimpse of her sessions with clients and the dates she sends them on.

Each episode of Confessions of a Matchmaker will begin with an initial interview that Novak conducts with her clients.  The romantically-challenged or unlucky-in-love client then embarks on a date, and the episode concludes with a follow-up where Novak assess their performance and determines whether or not the match she made meets her standards.

Confessions of a Matchmaker is produced for A&E by Sharp Entertainment. Executive producers are Matthew Sharp and Smash Advertising, with Jerry Kolbert serving as co-executive producer.
