Below is what happened on Episode 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's fifth season.

HOLLY and WAYNE

Holly was shown traveling to South Africa. She planned to marry Wayne within a week of her arrival, and she was feeling anticipation, curiosity and concern. Holly just wanted her romance with Wayne to feel the same as it did before.

Holly's mom was accompanying Holly on the trip, but Wayne didn't want his potential mother-in-law to stay with them for the whole three months. He thought their living arrangement was going to be strange and uncomfortable.

Regardless, Holly wanted to hear her mother's opinion of Wayne, and she also wanted her mother to watch her get married and attend the wedding.

Holly's mom was wary and worried about the crime and danger in South Africa. She didn't like the idea of her daughter's home being broken into all the time.

Holly felt strongly that her relationship with Wayne was meant to be, and so she was prepared to overcome any obstacles with him so that they could live happily ever after.

Unfortunately, Holly was sick and throwing up while traveling which made her journey to South Africa tough.

After a long traveling experience, Holly and Wayne reunited after seven months of being apart.

"The energy is exactly the same as it used to be," Wayne gushed.

Wayne, however, didn't like people looking at Holly in a sexual way at the airport. He wanted her to cover up and change her sexy style.

Holly pictured herself living in a gated community, but Wayne apparently didn't want to leave the home he loved. Wayne also claimed he had good security set up at his place, and he thought Holly's mom would approve of it.

TEJASWI and KIMBERLY

Tejaswi, or "TJ," is a 33-year-old voiceover artist from Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

TJ lived with his mother, father and brother, and he called his family "traditional" in terms of societal norms. The women took care of his house -- cooking and cleaning -- while the men worked and earned money for the family.

Two years prior, TJ had joined a spiritual group on social media where he met Kimberly, a beautiful woman who made him smile.

"I sent her [a] friend request, but she didn't accept it. Recently, I asked her why... and she said, '[Your profile picture] looks like you are conning someone or you are a spammer.' I am not a spammer. But I knew she was my destiny," TJ shared.

TJ therefore meditated and manifested the pair coming together and being together. He believed that, through his mind and heart, he could really make this happen.

"She texted me the next day. Yeah, that was so powerful," TJ gushed. "We formed a bond that I've never felt with anybody else."

TJ said he knew early on that he was going to marry Kimberly, and so, after six months of dating, they decided to meet in-person. TJ thought Kimberly was cute and sweet, and she stayed in India on a student visa for one year.

TJ told the cameras that he wanted to propose marriage to Kimberly by the end of her stay, but in India, an arranged marriage typically brings two families together and it's important to keep traditions alive.

TJ therefore knew marrying an American girl would be an obstacle to overcome, but his parents apparently approved of the relationship.

"My family expects Kimberly to be a traditional wife in India, contributing to the household work," TJ shared in a confessional. "But I'm not telling everything to Kimberly. Right now, the priority is to get married first. All other things can be talked [about] later on."

Kimberly, a self-declared clairvoyant from Alabama, said that she met her fiance through a dream. In her dream, she and TJ were riding dune buggies in a desert, but she wasn't able to see her face.

After Kimberly asked her spirit guides to show her the literal man of her dreams, TJ reached out to her on social media. He asked her to marry him a text message, but she didn't view that as a real proposal.

"I got on a plane to go to India just to meet TJ," Kimberly said, adding how she felt so safe with him. "About two months after I met TJ in-person, I accepted his marriage proposal, but we decided to hold off our wedding while I was there on a temporary visa."

After being back in the U.S. for four months, Kimberly was ready to return to India and get married.

TJ and his family were planning the whole wedding -- an elaborate, traditional wedding -- himself, which made Kimberly a little nervous. She wanted to know what was going on and be more involved, but TJ just kept asking her to trust him and not lose her temper.

Kimberly was also going "crazy" about her apartment in India, which was being built on top of TJ's family's home. Kimberly said the details of their apartment were things they had not agreed on, and so she was stressed out.

Kimberly knew her desires and hobbies would be restricted due to TJ's religion, such as cooking with garlic and onions.

"To be honest, I don't want to move in with his family. I can't imagine living with someone else's family and adapting my whole life to rules I don't necessarily believe in," Kimberly shared in a confessional.

"But I've always wanted to marry him, and I know one thousand percent that he's The One for me."

TJ was expecting his future bride to arrive in a few days. Kimberly would've liked to wear white to her wedding and have a traditional American ceremony, but TJ said the decisions were up to him and his family.

TJ warned his family that Kimberly was a moody girl with a bad temper. They apparently had ups and downs in their relationship, and TJ's father was concerned about these "waves" and Kimberly's preferred lifestyle.

When asked if Kimberly would follow their traditions, TJ asked his parents to be flexible -- but he did say that Kimberly would cook and help out around the house. TJ wasn't sure if Kimberly's way of life would cause conflict in his home.

Meanwhile, Kimberly was excited that her dad and stepmom would be coming to India in about a week to attend her wedding. They were very close, and Kimberly had been living with them for a few months.

Kimberly's parents got divorced when she was younger, and it was apparently a heartbreaking situation for Kimberly and her siblings. Kimberly didn't have a steady home post-divorce, but her father ultimately got custody and so they all moved to Arkansas, where her father got remarried.

Kimberly said she always felt like her mother liked her the least of all her children, which really hurt and bothered Kimberly all the time.

Kimberly also didn't feel "supported" or "heard" in her relationship as TJ was taking over their wedding and apartment plans. Kimberly didn't feel like she had much of a voice, and her dad and stepmom were fearful of Kimberly navigating a brand new culture in India.

"I feel like he doesn't take me seriously as a partner, and it makes me concerned that's what it's going to be like being married to him," Kimberly noted.

KENNY and ARMANDO

Kenny couldn't convince Armando to move to Mexico City, and so they decided to compromise and make a summer trip out of it.

The pair just couldn't agree on this move, and Kenny hoped the disagreement wouldn't come between them.

During Kenny and Armando's first morning in Mexico City with Armando's daughter Hannah, Armando suggested Kenny should do their grocery shopping by himself to prove that he'd be fine in Mexico City, where the majority of residents spoke Spanish.

In Mexico City, shoppers must ask vendors for food rather than just picking out labeled items. Armando therefore sent Kenny their shopping list, and Kenny was on his own.

"I'm really kind of surprised at Armando because he doesn't usually play these games," Kenny told the cameras.

"So I have to prove a point here and I have to do good. Otherwise, Armando is going to throw it in my face and say, 'I told you so! You cannot handle it here in Mexico City.'"

Kenny appeared a little overwhelmed walking around the grocery store by himself, especially when ordering raw chicken and asking for certain spices.

Kenny admitted that learning Spanish is very difficult for him because he has a learning disability known as dyslexia. Kenny realized he needed to learn more or else Armando would have to do a lot to guide his partner through Mexico City.

Kenny didn't even have a translation app on his phone, and so he seemed like "a fish out of water."

Armando was trying to show Kenny the downside of moving to Mexico City. He knew Kenny would have to rely on him a lot more, but Kenny said he could do it all -- it would just take a little longer for him to get a job done.

"We just literally got here and you're already, like, not giving it a chance. You're not being open-minded about it, and that's what this trial run is all about," Kenny told Armando.

Kenny's first shopping experience in Mexico City was a big fail, but he said he still wanted to move there. Hannah thought the city was very pretty and said she'd be open to moving there, but she knew she was going to be far from her grandparents.

Hannah's optimistic attitude helped Armando be more open-minded about a potential move, but he didn't want too much to fall on his shoulders given Kenny couldn't speak Spanish.

"He doesn't want to feel like he owes me because I gave up everything to leave the United States and move to Mexico for him. I've never given him the feeling like he owed me something," Kenny told the cameras. "I don't have one ounce of that feeling in me."

Kenny didn't want to "keep score" in his marriage, but he also wanted Armando to listen to his requests, compromise, and give certain things a fair shot.

KIRSTEN and JULIO

Kirsten was shown arriving in New York, where she was going to meet Julio's family before he moved to the Netherlands to be with her in a few months.

Kirsten apparently got stuck in customs and they took her passport upon entry into the United States. Julio was upset Kirsten's trip was starting out with this much stress, and she admitted that a security guard asking her questions was a little bit scary for her.

However, the pair had a happy reunion in the airport. Julio brought Kirsten red roses, and she had a smile on her face.

Kirsten, however, was worried that Julio's mother was mad at her because she was going to be the reason behind Julio's move to another country.

Julio booked a hotel in Manhattan so they could spend the night together and have some privacy. He was looking forward to becoming reacquainted.

But first, the couple did some sightseeing around Times Square and stopped at a bar for a couple of drinks.

Kirsten thought Times Square was an exciting place, but she admitted that she just liked visiting and wouldn't want to live in that "overwhelming" place. Julio, however, didn't speak Dutch, and so Kirsten was concerned about how he'd thrive in her city.

Julio assured Kirsten that he didn't have any second thoughts about moving, even though he'd have to leave his job as well as his family and friends. He was ready to take a chance on love.

Julio hoped his mom would come to love Kirsten and get behind their relationship.

"If not, I don't know what to do," Julio admitted.

BRANDAN and MARY

Brandan was shown going fishing with his godfather Ryan and godmother Caitlin. He was moving to the Philippines in a couple of days and couldn't wait to be with his long-distance love, Mary.

Mary didn't really get along with Brandan's family, and Brandan's biological mother was afraid her son was going to ruin his life over his obsession with a woman he had never actually met in-person.

The last time Brandan went fishing, Mary worried he was cheating on her with someone else. Brandan luckily had service at the creek, and so he put Mary on the phone and let her watch him.

Caitlin vented about how she could never have a private conversation with Brandan, which really bothered her. Mary was always listening, and that created a problem.

Brandan was also trying to financially support Mary, even though he didn't have much money.

"Mary and I decided to build a house for ourselves in the Philippines," Brandan explained in a confessional.

"There was a typhoon that destroyed her home, and over the past year, all of my paychecks that were coming in were going straight to building the house and to Mary. It was close to 50 or 60 thousand dollars. I just scratched by, and so I've got $250 in my bank account. So, good luck to me!"

Brandan's godparents pointed out how Brandan had put a lot of faith into this woman, but Brandan insisted that they loved each other and nothing was ever going to drive them apart.

Brandan apparently even lost three or four jobs because his employer had to be okay with him being on the phone with Mary for his entire shift. Brandan was low on money as a result, but he hoped things were going to work themselves out.

Brandan confirmed that if he and Mary fought nonstop and didn't get along in the Philippines, he didn't have a backup plan. Being with Mary in the Philippines was his only plan for his future.

Brandan then packed up his bags and headed to the airport for his trip. He felt his family was against his goals and his happiness, but Brandan's mother Angela did show up to say goodbye and wish him well at the airport.

Angela hugged her son goodbye and cried. She apparently felt angry about the move and worried that Mary was manipulating and using him. Angela clearly didn't want Brandan to go to the Philippines, but she said she'd always support him and be there for him.

Once Angela started using drugs, Brandan had lost all faith and trust in her. However, Angela was sober now, and so she wished their relationship was better.

"Mary stood in the way of that, and that's the hardest part of watching him go," Angela explained to the cameras.

Brandan had to sit next to a girl on the plane, and once Mary found out about it, she was jealous and unhappy. It was out of Brandan's control, but Mary apparently gave him a hard time and thought he was going to flirt like "a pig."

Brandan called Mary "insecure," and so to make her happy, he requested a seat change and got one. Brandan was afraid he wasn't going to be able to appease Mary's demands.

Because the couple fought so much over the phone, it had become normal for them to act that way. Mary was shown calling Brandan "a liar" and "a cheater," and Brandan said he could only tolerate it up to a certain point.

"I don't want to live a life with you," Mary was shown texting Brandan in regards to the woman he had sat next to on the plane. "[You] don't belong here. Don't come here. I'm DONE."

Mary's behavior made Brandan question if he was making the right decision by moving to the Philippines to be with her.
