90 Day Fiance: The Other Way -- 90 Day Fiance's fourth spinoff -- was first announced by TLC last July.

While the original 90 Day Fiance series follows Americans who use a K-1 visa to bring a foreign romantic partner that they must then marry within 90 days to America, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way will feature the opposite behavior.

Instead of following couples living in America, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way will follow American citizens that are choosing to live in a foreign country for the sake of love and their future spouses.

Like the original 90 Day Fiance, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way's Americans will also have to wed within 90 days in order to stay in their new countries.

According to 90 Day Fiance franchise producer Matt Sharp, the idea for the new spinoff came from 90 Day Fiance's casting process.

"We noticed in the casting process there were Americans who said I'm going to forego my lifestyle, my family, my culture, my country to be with this person," Sharp explained during a Television Critics Association press tour panel last summer, Deadline Hollywood reported.

"There have been little bits of this in other shows," he noted.

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s third season included Nicole Nafziger traveling to Morocco hoping to marry Azan Tefou after he had been denied a K-1 visa to come to the United States.

Unfortunately, the couple failed to wed in time due to financial constraints and apparent cold feet on Azan's part, so Nicole had to return to America.

The couple's storyline will continue in the fourth season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, which will premiere on TLC on April 28.

90 Day Fiance's other spinoffs are 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and 90 Day Fiance: What Now?.

While 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days airs on TLC, 90 Day Fiance: What Now? is a TLC GO digital original series available on TLC's website and app. However, 90 Day Fiance: What Now?'s episodes have also aired on TLC's cable network following their online release.

TLC also just announced it will premiere The Family Chantel -- another new spinoff focusing on 90 Day Fiance couple Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno and their families -- in July.

Like the rest of 90 Day Fiance's spinoffs, The Family Chantel is being produced by Sharp and his Sharp Entertainment production company.

All the spinoff shows have stemmed from the fact 90 Day Fiance has become incredibly popular among TLC viewers.

"Our batting average on this show is that out of every 25 couples on 90 Day Fiance, we've only had three divorces," Sharp reportedly said last year.

"That's less than 10 percent and the current U.S. (divorce) rate is over 40 percent. It's one of the reasons why people love this show, it's so unexpected."
