90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days featured Lisa and Daniel getting engaged, Birkan admitting he's $50k in debt, Trisha keeping a secret from Rick, Ziad saying there was "zero" chance Emma was going to be his wife, and Aviva learning a hard truth during the Season 8 episode that aired Sunday night on TLC.

The eight Americans include Elise, a bold and outspoken woman who looked for love on 90 Day: Hunt for Love earlier this year. Elise is apparently hoping to settle down with a man named Joshua from Australia.
In addition to Elise, a 32-year-old from Florida, and Joshua, a 39-year-old from Australia, the show is also going to star Jovon, a 38-year-old from Alabama, and Annalyn, a 38-year-old from the Philippines, as well as Aviva, a 26-year-old from Arizona, and Stig, a 30-year-old from Belize.
The rest of the couples are Laura, a 47-year-old from Washington, and Birkan, a 26-year-old from Turkey; Emma, a 28-year-old from California, and Ziad, a 27-year-old from Morocco; Forrest, a 32-year-old from Oregon, and Sheena, a 40-year-old from the Philippines; Rick, a 52-year-old from California, and Trisha, a 25-year-old from Madagascar; and Lisa, a 51-year-old from Pennsylvania, and Daniel, a 39-year-old from Nigeria.
"These couples are stepping into the unknown, driven by love but challenged by distance, doubt, and deep cultural divides," TLC teased.
"From conflicting expectations and family pressure to hidden pasts and even surveillance-level possessiveness, the stakes have never been higher for these unconventional love stories."
In most 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cases, a pair of lovebirds are hoping to get engaged and begin the K-1 Visa process.
Below is what happened on Episode 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' eighth season.
LISA and DANIEL
Daniel was shown down on one knee, presenting Lisa with an engagement ring."I don't want to say yes because I have to tell him my secrets, like, the fact I'm still married to a woman and that I have been married five times and that I've been with women for the past 21 years. I don't know what to do!" Lisa told the cameras.
After a long pause, Lisa replied, "Yes, baby!"

"I wasn't expecting this!" Lisa said.
While Lisa had been hoping for a marriage proposal at the end of her trip, she wasn't anticipating Daniel would pop the question right away.
But Daniel revealed that he had been planning the proposal for six months because he was sure about her.
"You are made for me -- my God-given gift," Daniel told Lisa.
Lisa got to meet Daniel's uncle, who congratulated the pair.
Lisa just hoped that once she told Daniel everything about her relationship history that he wouldn't change his mind about wanting to marry her.

Lisa suddenly became overwhelmed with anxiety that Daniel wasn't going to want her. She put on red lingerie hoping to be intimate with Daniel, but he said, "Let's just sleep."
Lisa was afraid Daniel saw her body and was no longer attracted to her.
LAURA and BIRKAN
Birkan was smiling ear to ear in the morning, saying he had a "nice night" with Laura in Turkey.Laura said Birkan made her feel beautiful after her surgical consultation.
"When we got home, he definitely showed me that he's physically attracted to me -- multiple times," Laura revealed.
"Our sexual chemistry is pretty great, but I do think it takes a little time to learn a person's preferences. I feel like he's a little more vanilla and I'm a little more spice... But he's pretty blessed down there!"
Birkan said it had been a while since he last had sex but he was an "old truck" that still ran right.
Birkan and Laura then soaked in the local culture by watching dancers and eating a good meal.
Birkan then revealed to Laura that he was in debt and was "broke."
Laura asked Birkan how much he owed, and he replied, "I don't want to give you a heart attack, but I think 50k [in U.S. dollars]."
Laura appeared shocked, but Birkan insisted it wasn't a big deal.
"That's a lot of f-cking money," Laura lamented to the cameras.

JOVON and ANNALYN
After Jovon arrived in the Philippines, he and Annalyn started their honeymoon.Jovon said it was amazing to wake up next to Annalyn.
"We made love," Annalyn said.
"Was it good though?" Jovon asked.
Annalyn paused but then said, "It was good."
"I ain't got no complaints -- none!" Jovon clarified.
Annalyn then took Jovon out to lunch, where she ordered them a spicy meal.
Jovon tried all the spicy food and chiles. He said he didn't want to look like a baby in front of Annalyn but he was "burning up" inside.
The couple enjoyed some laughs, and then Annalyn said it would be nice if she got pregnant.
"I'm almost 40, so it's not like I'm getting younger!" Annalyn told the cameras.
Jovon told Annalyn that if she got pregnant, he'd do everything in his power to be with her.

Anna seemed frustrated that it had taken Jovon so long to visit her, when he would have tried much harder if she were expecting his child.
"She goes zero to 100 real quick. I walk on eggshells a lot... It almost feels like you can't be 100 percent yourself without the other person getting upset," Jovon explained in a confessional.
Jovon hoped they could fix this problem or else their marriage wasn't going to work out.
Later on, Jovon explained how he felt like the money he had been sending Annalyn -- about $600 per month -- was her "vacation fund." She shared, for instance, how she got massages all the time.
EMMA and ZIAD
Ziad introduced Emma to some of his friends, and Emma revealed that she had fallen for Ziad very quickly.Emma boasted about how Ziad had called her his wife just 10 minutes into getting to know each other.
Ziad then told Emma that people were conservative in Old Medina and so her outfit -- a low-cut white dress -- was inappropriate.
Ziad's friends called it a "misunderstanding," but Emma claimed Ziad lied to her because he had told her that she could where whatever she wanted.
Emma and Ziad then started fighting in front of his friends. Ziad called Emma "disrespectful" for fighting with him and talking over him, but Emma complained about how Ziad had repeatedly said one thing and done another.
Ziad then called Emma a liar, claiming she was dating someone else when they started talking.

Ziad claimed he was just welcoming women to Morocco, but Emma wasn't buying it. Ziad's friends even appeared to take Emma's side in the dispute.
When asked if he could see Emma as his wife and the mother of his kids, Ziad replied, "Zero percent [in] this moment."
"You told me before I came here that you wanted to get engaged," Emma said.
"We are so different; we need more time," Ziad countered.
RICK and TRISHA
Rick said he and Trisha had cleared the air about her ghosting him for five days but he wasn't ready to tell her about what happened in Colombia yet.Rick said he was feeling close to Trisha and didn't want to lose that feeling.
Rick called Trisha a female "ejaculator" and so he had put garbage bags all over their bed to avoid making a mess.
Trisha thought the "splash pad" was ridiculous, and so he asked her if she'd be willing to pay for any mattress stains.
Trisha then left to take a shower.
While cameras were done, Trisha's repaired motorbike was dropped off at the hotel.
"I assumed it would be dropped off by a mechanic, but as it turns out, it was her ex-boyfriend's friend," Rick told the cameras.

"At that point, we were supposed to be exclusive," Rick explained.
Rick asked Trisha why she had kept that secret from him, but she argued, "It was not that important. Rick, I didn't lie to you."
Rick appeared upset, and Trisha asked him to calm down.
"I don't know how to tell Rick the whole story, and I'm scared," Trisha told the cameras.
Trisha explained to Rick how she had bumped into her ex at a restaurant, but Rick called the situation "sketchy" because she probably would've told him about that.
"I didn't tell you because he was trying to get me back," Trisha revealed. "I said, 'No, I already have someone.' He got mad because I said no... and I didn't say anything because I was really scared about how you'd react."
Rick asked if they had been in contact since then, and Trisha said he messaged her once.
Rick was angry that this man didn't know Trisha had moved on with someone new.
Trisha insisted her ex stopped sending her messages, and so Rick asked to check her phone so that he could believe her easily.
"Look at the time, I didn't even respond, Rick," Trisha noted. "I didn't even pick up [his phone call]."
Rick therefore believed Trisha, and he said that was a big deal and her story was credible.

AVIVA and STIG
Stig told Aviva that he loved the lingerie she had worn for him and he hoped they made a baby."Stig and I did have a long night!" Aviva giggled. "I definitely think us being intimate made us a lot closer."
But Stig didn't want to use protection when they had sex.
"He knows I'm not on birth control, so I guess we're not NOT trying to have a baby," Aviva told the cameras.
"I know it seems a little crazy and super soon, but I want a family and I would love to have little baby Stigs. He would make a great dad."
Stig said Aviva was "fine as f-ck" and so he needed to make the most out of this romance.
But Aviva said if she wanted to have a life with a music star in Belize, she'd have to be able to handle his fans and his busy lifestyle.
Stig therefore brought Aviva to his music studio to introduce her to his "homies" and show her around.
Stig rapped Aviva a song about how he wanted to marry and "breed" her, but Stig's manager was afraid Aviva would bring drama and ultimately damage the rapper's career.
A woman from Texas "had done a number" on Stig before, according to his manager.
"We couldn't get anything out of him for months. He was just depressed. We had a lot of international projects ahead of us, and all of that paused," the manager said.

"I thought he was over her. That's why I was willing to come all the way out here. So now I don't know what to believe," Aviva told the cameras.
When Aviva confronted Stig about what she had heard, Stig didn't deny it. Stig said he was looking for love, marriage and babies and so he was serious about every relationship he entered.
Stig didn't think it was a bad thing that he was trying to plan a future with his ex-girlfriend, who ultimately broke his heart. He didn't want Aviva to make a big deal out of this.
"So what happened when you went to Texas a few months ago?" Aviva asked.
Stig had gone to Texas for work and to visit family, but she wondered if he visited his ex-girlfriend, mainly because he never invited her on the trip.
Stig insisted he just performed and didn't even have time to see his family.
"It's not like that," Stig said.
FORREST and SHEENA
Forrest was about to meet Sheena's parents to hopefully receive their blessing to marry Sheena.Forrest wanted to show Sheena's parents how great he is before having the conversation about cutting them off financially.
Forrest decided to meet Sheena's parents alone before his mother Molly and stepdad Dev would arrive the next day.
Forrest didn't have a job in several years and had been living off disability checks, and so he was worried Sheena's parents were going to disapprove of him.

Sheena had been helping her family financially for years, and so she admitted she was annoyed that Forrest wasn't working and saving money for their future.
