The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couples who previously starred on the spinoff's sixth season are Elizabeth and Andrei, Angela and Michael, and Yara and Jovi.

Jenny and Sumit previously appeared on all three seasons of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, which follows American citizens moving to foreign countries for the sake of love.

In a departure from 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s original premise -- which was continuing to follow the lives of couples who married after the American resident's foreign partner came to the United States on a K-1 visa -- Usman and Kim are not married, and neither are Ed and Liz (nor is Liz even a foreigner).

Jenny and Sumit are in fact married, but their wedding or ceremony never aired on TLC. In addition, the couple are also not living in America but in India, Sumit's home country.

Kim and Usman appeared on Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days and the season showed Kim traveling overseas to meet Usman in person for the first time. Usman also previously appeared on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days with his prior American partner Lisa Hamme, whom he married in the show's season finale.

Ed and Liz previously appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of 90 Day: The Single Life on discovery+.

"As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationships, they'll be put to the test on everything from emotional affairs to disapproving family to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon stage goodbye, are they headed toward happily ever after or happily never after?" TLC teased of the new Happily Ever After? season.

Below is what happened on Episode 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s seventh season.

JENNY and SUMIT

It was Jenny and Sumit's first morning of their honeymoon in Rishikesh, and the trip had started out a bit rough because the night prior, Sumit talked about going back to work and potentially working six days a week.

Given Jenny is retired, she wanted to spend more time with Sumit and not be left home alone so much.

However, the couple was in good spirits. Sumit had been hoping to cliff dive, white water raft and zipline during the vacation, but Jenny just wanted to relax on the beach and get some sun.

Jenny said Sumit had "lost his mind" if he thought she was going to do those type of activities, but she realized she'd have to make a few concessions in order to keep up with her 33-year-old husband.

Jenny at least agreed to zipline, but she panicked before taking off and got really scared.

Jenny didn't really want to do it, but she gathered up her courage and left the platform. Jenny called the experience "amazing" and seemed so proud of herself for ziplining.

Jenny, however, drew the line at jumping out of an airplane, which was another adventure Sumit wanted to do with his wife.

Sumit also wanted to bring some adventure into the bedroom, and so he asked Jenny to learn about Kama Sutra with him. Jenny said she didn't need to be taught anything about sex and different positions, but Sumit liked the idea of experimenting and broadening their horizons.

Jenny thought her sex life with Sumit was just fine, but Sumit admitted, "Maybe this is something I need."

"Do you?!" Jenny asked in shock. "I think you're fine... Let's talk about it some more later."

Jenny said she wasn't about to take a Kama Sutra yoga class in front of other people and her age difference from Sumit was starting to be very apparent.

Jenny and Sumit also conducted a religious ceremony, asking for blessings on their union and making wishes for the future.

But then Jenny revealed that she'd like to return to America and show Sumit where she lived most of her life once their spousal visa got approved. But Sumit said he wasn't ready to make a sacrifice like that, especially since it would mean probably losing his family for good.

Jenny said she just wanted to feel like Sumit's priority for once, above his parents.

ANGELA and MICHAEL

Angela was leaving for Nigeria with her friend Rene in less than 24 hours, and she said she felt so stressed because of what Michael had been putting her through. Angela thought it was a good idea to bring a friend with her in order to have emotional support in case her relationship with Michael didn't work out.

Angela wanted to look sexy for the trip because she claimed Michael hadn't told her that she looked good or pretty in two years. Angela had a brand new body, and she wanted to feel like her husband found her attractive.

"I want to save this marriage, but the reality is, if I find out Michael has been scamming me, this marriage is over immediately," Angela told the cameras.

Angela was still upset about Michael's Instagram and how he had asked for $5,000 to take it down. Angela wondered if Michael was using her as an opportunity to move to the United States due to how he'd been treating her.

Angela was about to surprise Michael, who apparently didn't know she was coming to his native country. Angela planned to catch him off-guard and look through his phone, and Rene liked the idea and was ready to have her pal's back.

"This is the last resort because I need the hard and honest truth before that visa is approved. I only want Michael in the United States if he loves me, and if he don't, I don't want him here," Angela insisted.

Angela cried about the idea of her marriage potentially coming to an end and Michael fooling her. She missed Michael and wanted to be happy with him, but she was "angry as hell" for how he had disrespected her.

Angela feared Michael wouldn't even care once he saw her in-person again. She wanted to fix her marriage but acknowledged how that's a two-way street.

Angela was prepared to file for divorce if necessary.

KIM and USMAN

After talking about Usman's potential second wife, Kim was furious and asked Usman to "leave [her] the f-ck alone." Kim said she couldn't go on with a man who disregarded her and laughed at her, and she noted how everything was on the line, including her relationship and the trip to Sokoto to meet Usman's mother.

Kim cried because she didn't want to lose Usman, but she also didn't want to continue being so unhappy.

"I have every right to ask questions," Kim explained, adding how two wives living in the same household was a "crazy" idea to her.

Kim accused Usman of interrupting her in conversation and making her look stupid in front of his friend, and Usman asked Kim if she wanted to continue living her life the way it was, without him in it.

Kim said she had made Usman her life for two years, but Usman pointed out how their fighting was not healthy and they needed to end it if Kim was going to keep lashing out at him and having emotional breakdowns over his culture.

Usman didn't like Kim's apparent angry streak, and he said their relationship may no longer be possible or worth maintaining.

Kim eventually realized she was too old and mature to be handling her problems by throwing milkshakes on people, and so she found Usman the next morning and apologized to him for her behavior.

Kim said Usman had said his first wife would be his true love and his second life would just be the babymaker. Kim felt misled and lied to, and Usman apologized for offending Kim in any way. Kim just didn't want "bullsh-t" thrown at her throughout her relationship.

"This is changing my whole life. This is your custom, this isn't mind. I feel like I love you enough to accept it, but I need to understand it too. And you disregard that with me, and I don't know why you do that to me. Nobody is in your corner more than me," Kim cried.

"I am very sorry," Usman replied.

Kim said she was doing everything for Usman and he didn't give her enough credit for her effort and compromise. Usman, however, thought he was fighting for Kim and their relationship, especially in deciding to introduce her to his family, who may not like her.

Kim promised to never lash out and throw a drink at Usman again, and the pair was able to laugh and hug things out.

But Usman said if things didn't go well between Kim and his family, his relationship could break.

ED and LIZ

Liz was shown taking a dance class with her friend Alex following her photo-shoot fight with Ed. Liz said she felt like Ed didn't want to see her grow or succeed and maybe Ed wanted her to need him more, which would ultimately make him feel more in control.

Alex said Ed didn't have a hold on Liz, and Liz told the cameras how Ed tended to be insecure and bossy.

Liz said Ed was supportive of her working out and had brought up past pictures of her.

"He will look through photos and be like, 'Oh, do you ever think about being back to that size?'" Liz revealed.

"It's kind of insulting. I don't feel pretty, and that's kind of why I started dance classes when we broke up before, because I'd see the kind of girls he was hanging out with. I would hope Ed would love me no matter what. I've loved him at his heaviest and his smallest since I've been with him. Never thought I'd feel so insecure about myself the way that I do now."

Liz said Ed wanted her to be at the weight she was at when they broke up, which Alex didn't think was healthy physically or emotionally for Liz.

Liz added how Ed didn't like her having "girl time" and constantly asked her questions about who she's with. Liz thought Ed projected his insecurities onto her and was scared to be loved and get hurt.

"When Ed has insecurities. There are some control issues that can come up, that can make me question if I can see a future with him," Liz explained in a confessional.

Meanwhile, Ed realized he had embarrassed Liz in front of her friend with the photography session and needed to be more sensitive to her feelings.

Ed and Liz's engagement party was coming up, but he wasn't sure his mother and daughter were going to attend since they didn't really approve of his romance to begin with.

Ed and Liz later enjoyed a romantic date night and dinner out, and she said she really loved Ed and thought they brought out the best in each other.

Liz told the cameras how she'd actually feel a bit relieved if Ed's family didn't come to their engagement party in order to avoid a tense interaction or any drama.

Ed appeared thankful for Liz because he said he couldn't imagine dating himself -- and probably never would. Ed noted how his heart was invested in Liz and they didn't have anything to prove to anybody.

JOVI and YARA

Russia had invaded Ukraine one week prior, and Lviv is close to where Yara's family lives.

Yara admitted she was miserable all the time and terrified for her family and friends in Ukraine. Innocent people were dying, and Jovi recognized Yara was having a really hard time.

Jovi said Yara wasn't sleeping and was crying all the time, and even he broke down into tears about how he supported Ukraine and was doing his best to support Yara during this difficult time.

Yara's mother was in Czech Republic during the invasion and so she was perfectly safe, but the rest of her family was located in western Ukraine. Her friends were in Kyiv, and so Yara said her friends were spending their days in the bathtub and their nights underground.

Yara broke down crying and felt "useless" because she could barely help them while living so far away. Yara said her sister heard bombs and her loved ones didn't have enough food and water.

"They can't leave right now," Yara revealed. "Now when will I be able to go home?... I'm worried about my country, everybody... I just want for it to be over. I don't care who's right or who's wrong."

Yara was trying to put on a brave face in front of her daughter, but she wanted the war to end and for everybody she loved to be safe.

Jovi was about to leave for work in a few days, and he was worried to leave Yara under these stressful conditions. Yara expected to receive her green card in a week or so after her interview, and she wanted to bring her immediate family over to America to live with her.

But Jovi was worried about having to support so many people financially and sharing a small place with her relatives. Yara said she didn't want to leave her family in danger, but Jovi explained how they just needed to think things through and be on the same page.

"I think if I can buy expensive purses, I can buy other people freedom," Yara noted.

Jovi didn't like the idea of Yara traveling to Prague with their daughter Mylah while he was gone, but Yara said people desperately needed her help in Europe and she would never put their child into a dangerous situation.

Jovi just wanted to go with Yara in a few weeks, once he finished work, and he begged Yara to make a rational decision that would be safe and best for their family. Jovi promised he'd support everyone she wanted to help and get things done if she waited for him.

Yara wanted to travel as soon as possible and stay with her mother and see how Mylah would react.

"So will you wait for me or not?" Jovi asked.

"I don't know," Yara replied.

ELIZABETH and ANDREI

Elizabeth was shown meeting her sisters, Jenn and Becky, at a dance studio where one of Jenn's daughters was taking a lesson.

Jenn thought Andrei was being disrespectful towards their mother but they could also see Andrei's perspective given he didn't want to be near Charlie at their mother's 60th birthday party.

Becky and Jenn revealed how they planned to attend their mother's birthday party, even if Charlie was going to attend, and Elizabeth felt betrayed and that her sisters had switched sides.

Elizabeth said Charlie constantly texted her nasty things about her husband and she wasn't going to subject herself to that type of drama just for a birthday party. She was "baffled" by how her sisters were reacting to the situation.

Elizabeth told the cameras how Charlie had shown no remorse or guilt about his actions and so she wasn't going to subject herself to that. Elizabeth's sisters accused Elizabeth of just following her husband's opinion on this and isolating herself from her family due to Andrei.

"You're like building an island," Becky said. "I can't get done coping with a situation until there's a new one in my family. He's creating a wall around him and my sister. And I feel stupid that I'm even surprised by it."

Andrei had a green card renewal coming up, and so Elizabeth said it wouldn't be smart for Andrei and Charlie to be in the same room given a confrontation could jeopardize that for him.

"Hopefully he gets sent back," Becky said with a laugh.

"What a stupid f-cking thing to say. Do you not want to see me ever again? Because I would move to Moldova," Elizabeth snapped back.

Becky said she genuinely feared Andrei keeping her sister and niece, Eleanor, away from her.

Elizabeth thought it was easy for everyone to blame Andrei because he showed them what was happening in a mirror and "the truth hurts sometimes."

Meanwhile, Charlie and his wife Meg were shown doing a photo shoot for fans' foot fetishes. Charlie took photos of Meg's feet for her to send out, and Meg said she had made $70,000 from doing this last year alone.

Meg said she missed Charlie's sisters, who used to be her best friends, and Charlie said the narrative of him drinking too much and being "toxic" was ridiculous. Charlie insisted he's not an alcoholic and Andrei was a hypocrite because he'd go get drunk with his dad Chuck after work.

Charlie said it wasn't his goal to turn his family against Andrei, and Meg said the family needed to realize how Andrei was to blame for getting in the middle of everyone.

"I am not the instigator," Charlie vented.

"This whole situation with my family wouldn't have happened if Andrei didn't come here. He is the catalyst for all of this. I think the only thing that will open their eyes is when Andrei does this to them... I'm going to defend myself."
