90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? continued its fourth season on Sunday night with major drama -- including Larissa Christina Dos Santos Lima being arrested for domestic battery and Chantel Everett venting about how her marriage was "over" after problems with Pedro Jimeno's family worsened.

In addition to Pedro, Chantel, and Larissa, Sunday night's two-hour 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? broadcast on TLC also featured Larissa's husband Colt Johnson and Season 4's couples: Ashley Martson and Jay Smith, Russ Mayfield and Paola Mayfield, and Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei and Andrei Castravet.

Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou, however, were not featured in this episode.

"Many painful realities and unexpected obstacles await as they navigate cultural differences, pregnancies, in-laws, scandals and more," TLC previously teased of the new season.

This season has featured explosive fights, confrontations, tears, and even police involvement, and there is still apparently much more to come.

Below is the latest on each 90 Day Fiance couple, according to the new broadcast of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s fourth season.

COLT and LARISSA

Larissa told the cameras she and Colt were fighting a lot and Debbie was still "controlling" in the house.

Larissa needed more money from Colt for things. She said while he agreed to pay to get her hair done, he'd probably refuse to cough up the dough once he learned how much it would cost.

Larissa looked around the house for spare change but found nothing, and then Colt vented about how he was "done" giving Larissa money because he's "not made of money." Colt was frustrated because Larissa made him feel like he never gave her enough.

Debbie was also fed up with Larissa over their argument with the slot machine.

Later on, Colt and Larissa had the house to themselves because Debbie was out of town, but Larissa was nowhere to be found. Colt said Larissa's fuse just "blew up" and everything that was bothering her "came out at once."

Colt revealed Larissa was "yelling, screaming and hitting him." She also locked herself in a bathroom, and so Colt deactivated her phone.

Colt said Larissa posted online that she was "in danger" and so strangers called the police. Five police officers apparently arrived at the scene "with their guns drawn," according to Colt, and they "kicked in the door."

"They grabbed me, pulled me outside, and proceeded to handcuff me, read me my rights and search me. Essentially, I was a criminal at that point even though I did nothing wrong," Colt explained.

After some time passed, Colt said the officers let him go and proceeded to handcuff Larissa. Larissa had been charged with domestic battery and was taken to jail.

"She was angry and upset at me, but when she knew she was going to jail, she started to cry and it broke my heart again," Colt shared.

Colt then FaceTimed with his mother to inform her Larissa had been arrested after an argument -- again.

Larissa had to spend the night in jail and her case would be brought in front of a judge. Colt planned to post her bail as long as he could afford it, but he worried he wouldn't have enough money. Colt said it was just going to be "a waiting game" for her bail to be set.

Colt hoped to start over after Larissa's previous trial. They laughed and even went to counseling, but Colt realized his relationship wasn't in a good place and love didn't seem to be enough.

Since this was Larissa's second charge, Colt wasn't sure if she'd be deported.

"I don't even know if Larissa wants to be married to me anymore. I don't know how she's feeling, and I just hope she's going to be okay in prison," Colt told the cameras.

Colt later learned Larissa's bail had been set at $1,000, which he didn't have. Colt, however, said he loved Larissa and would do whatever it takes to help her.

Colt therefore met with a bail bondsman, and he was pretty "terrified" about the situation in general. Colt was able to pay the bondsman just $200 for Larissa's bail, and he anticipated picking Larissa up the next morning.

Colt was eventually shown driving to a detention center to pick up Larissa, and he was prepared to wait for hours for her release so he would be there to protect her.

Colt was tired and exhausted after waiting three hours for his wife's release, and he didn't know what this meant for his marriage or Larissa's immigration status.

CHANTEL and PEDRO

Chantel had been in the Dominican Republic for one day, and Pedro decided to stay in a hotel with Chantel for her first night in his home country, which made her happy.

Chantel noticed, however, Pedro was "still cold" towards her, and Pedro admitted it was because his wife had been "rude" and disrespectful to his mother and sister.

Chantel claimed she traveled to the Dominican Republic to fix their problems, but she failed to get along with Pedro's mother, as the two women bickered during their reunion.

Pedro wanted Chantel to try to be nice and visit with his sister again. Although she was hesitant because Chantel insisted she couldn't make people like her, Chantel said she would try to be "cordial" and a good sport for her husband.

"If she can't support me and will be disrespectful again, this marriage could be over," Pedro told the cameras.

Later on, Pedro asked Chantel and his sister to meet for drinks. Pedro hoped Chantel would apologize to his sister, but he just wanted "a new beginning" more than anything.

Chantel and Nicole had never been friends, and Chantel expected the apology to come from Nicole because she had allegedly always been against Chantel.

Chantel really wanted Pedro to stand up for her, but she anticipated he would take his family's side once again.

Once Nicole arrived, the girls argued about who was to fault and which person was to blame for the explosive argument that took place at the home of Chantel's parents when Nicole had been visiting the United States.

Nicole and Chantel were in each other's faces, yelling and arguing in no time, and Chantel questioned why this gathering was even happening to begin with.

"You're the cause of all of this. You don't deserve Pedro," Nicole told Chantel.

"I'm not going to listen to you anymore. I am done. Bye," Chantel noted, before leaving the table.

Pedro wanted the ladies to understand each other's points, but it didn't seem like that was going to happen. Pedro asked Chantel to apologize for that night, but Chantel told her husband that he should've "put his sister in check" after Nicole put a finger in Chantel's face.

Chantel didn't feel like Pedro cared about her, and she wondered what she was fighting for.

"Why is he trying to get me to apologize to her for something I didn't do? How about the time his sister talked about me behind my back? And what about the time she said my hair was ugly?" Chantel vented, adding about how a lot had happened between them off-camera that fans never got to see.

"I mean, my marriage is over. It's done, and I don't want to film anymore," Chantel cried.

Chantel thought Pedro turned into "a little b-tch" when he was around his family, and she was tired of having no support.

The pair then returned to their shared hotel room, and Pedro packed his bags to leave. Chantel said that wouldn't fix anything, but Pedro said he didn't want to fix things because she refused to apology and change her dynamic with his family.

Pedro decided to leave the hotel regardless, and both Pedro and Chantel felt uncared for by his or her spouse. Chantel said all Pedro cared about was forcing her to apologize for something she didn't do.

"He's not the husband I thought I married," Chantel noted. "I'm going to put it out of my mind as much as possible, and tomorrow, I'm going to figure out what to do."

Pedro was upset because he said he loved his wife but there seemed to be no end to the drama in sight.

PAOLA and RUSS

Paola and Russ were setting up their baby's nursery, and Paola noted writing a letter to the baby whom she had lost in the miscarriage was definitely cathartic and would allow her to move on and be happy.

Paola felt content, and so it was time to decide where she wanted to welcome her baby. Paola thought the tub in the birthing center was too small -- as she wanted more like a pool -- so she suggested buying a pool and having the baby in their own house.

Paola pictured being comfortable in her own home with candles set up everywhere. Russ felt a lot of pressure to buy a pool and pack the house with food, candles and more.

Russ was worried about being prepared, and he didn't like the idea of not being in a hospital with medical professionals around to help Paola in case something went wrong.

Russ obviously wanted Paola's safety to come first, but he was going to be supportive of whatever his wife wanted.

Paola revealed they had applied for her mother to receive a visa to come to the United States so everything wouldn't fall on her husband. Paola wasn't sure her mother would like the idea of a home birth, but she clearly wasn't too concerned.

Paola was relieved she and Russ agreed to have a home birth, but they had a lot to do.

Paola was still waiting for her mother's visa to be approved, and when she told her about the home birth, Pao's mother grew anxious and upset. Paola's mother didn't understand why she was making that decision considering it would be more risky for Paola.

"I really don't want to have my first baby without my mom, and I know she really wants to be here," Paola acknowledged in a confessional.

Later on, Paola's mother had her visa approved, and so she headed to America. Paola's mother had never traveled out of Colombia before, and Pao was thrilled.

Russ was worried about being outnumbered by the two outspoken and strong women, who might tell them it's the Colombian way or no way. Paola was so happy they had reunited.

It didn't take long, however, for Paola's mother to drive her crazy. Paola wanted a midwife instead of a doctor present for her baby's birth, but her mother wasn't supportive of such a plan.

Paola's mother, who had delivered six babies, truly wanted a medical professional to be by her daughter's side during the delivery.

"Instead of me worrying about a calm and natural birth, I'm going to be worried about what my mom is going through, and I don't need that," Paola explained.

ASHLEY and JAY

Jay's sister Poochie was ready to return to Jamaica, but she was feeling really "bad inside" because of Jay's dating-app scandal.

Poochie was extremely disappointed in her brother and was afraid to leave when his marriage was in shambles. Poochie wanted to see Ashley and Jay happy together, but they were far from that.

"I thought Jay had changed, but [what Ashley told me] sounded like the old Jay," Poochie said.

Poochie asked Jay why he did what he did, and Jay explained it was because he couldn't work and sat on the couch, watching TV, in the same spot every day.

Ashley told Jay that he knew exactly what he was getting into by moving to the United States, and she was tired of him seeking sympathy and making excuses.

Ashley told Jay "to grow the f-ck up," and Jay accused her of making him look "really dumb" in front of his family. Jay told Ashley that she simply didn't understand what he was going through because she's not an immigrant.

Poochie told Ashley that if she loved Jay and wanted things to work, she'd have to let go of the past. Poochie wanted Ashley and Jay to "squish" their problems, but Ashley said Jay was "too young, immature and selfish" to understand what she was feeling inside.

ELIZABETH and ANDREI

Elizabeth was seven months pregnant and there was so much tension between people in her family.

However, it was time to celebrate Elizabeth's baby shower, and so she was excited. But Andrei was still mad at her sister Jen for interfering with their relationship and ruffling his feathers.

Andrei actually hoped Jen wouldn't attend the baby shower at all. Elizabeth noted Andrei was well aware how much Jen talked about him behind his back.

Andrei decided to become a handyman, but he had yet to make much money. Elizabeth was therefore relieved her sister Becky was throwing her the baby shower.

When Jen arrived, Andrei wanted her to stay away from him as much as possible. Jen told the cameras she wouldn't have missed Elizabeth's shower for the world, even if Elizabeth was still mad at her.

Andrei then confronted Becky and asked her why Jen had been invited to the shower because he thought they were "buddies, buddies." Becky didn't appreciate how Andrei was being aggressive and upset when putting on the shower had been stressful enough.

Becky thought Andrei was being a jerk because she didn't need permission from anyone to invite someone into her home, especially her own sister. Andrei argued he didn't "start drama" at the shower because all he did was confront Becky and be direct.

Elizabeth was mad that Andrei "put a damper" on her party and made everyone feel uncomfortable. Elizabeth didn't want to bring her child into "a negative environment," and she hated the idea of future family gatherings being just as uncomfortable and awkward.

Elizabeth decided to have Andrei and Jen meet over breakfast so they could "let go of the drama" and hopefully get along. Jen agreed to have the conversation because she didn't want her sister to be stressed out, nor did she understand where Andrei's anger even came from.

Andrei wanted Jen to keep her nose out of his business, but Jen thought Elizabeth and her pregnancy was her family's business.

Jen said Andrei was "dismissive, unappreciative and ungrateful" for all of the help her father, Chuck, had given him and Elizabeth. But Andrei didn't feel he owed Jen any type of explanation, especially about his work.

Jen told the cameras Andrei went to the gym every day and did nothing else for Elizabeth and their baby.

Elizabeth asked Andrei to "shut up" and get over the feud. Elizabeth wasn't happy Andrei didn't offer up an apology to Jen, but both parties seemed to agree boundaries had to be set and they could move forward.
