When the episode began, it had been two months since Larissa's third arrest for domestic violence, and since then, Larissa had moved out and Colt bought a new car with air conditioning.

Colt revealed he had pulled the application for Larissa's Green Card and also filed for divorce.

Colt said the fighting between them had gotten out of control and Larissa was arrested for the third time because his mother Debbie had called the police.

Colt insists he wants Larissa deported

"I'm going to do everything I can to make sure Larissa is convicted and deported," Colt told the cameras, adding that he wanted Larissa to understand what she had done.

Colt wanted Larissa out of his life. He didn't want to see or talk to Larissa, and he didn't want to be on the hook for her financially anymore.

Meanwhile, Larissa said her third arrest for domestic violence was devastating and she was so scared of returning to jail and/or being deported.

A friend named Carmen -- whom Larissa had met in Brazil and known for 10 years -- had paid her bail, and ever since leaving Colt's house, Larissa was staying with Carmen in Las Vegas.

Larissa said she had filed for alimony because Colt brought her to America and had promised to take care of her. Larissa thought Colt had responsibilities.

Larissa was awaiting trial about her case with Colt, and she didn't know what was going to happen. Larissa wanted to stay in the United States with her dreams and hopes.

Larissa then alleged Colt spoke to her after her third arrest, saying he loved her and wanted to see her. But Larissa claimed she had blocked Colt because she no longer trusted him.

Colt couldn't believe Larissa was asking for $1,000 a month in alimony after only six months of marriage. Colt therefore hired a divorce attorney, Shawanna L. Johnson, because he thought it was ridiculous to pay Larissa monthly going forward.

Colt planned to testify against Larissa in court because her two previous domestic violence cases had been dropped since Colt chose not to testify. Colt predicted it would be very difficult for Larissa to be found innocent this time.

Colt learned this process could drag out and potentially turn into a nightmare. Shawanna told Colt there were a lot of factors involved with awarding alimony and it could become complicated.

Both Colt and Debbie wanted to see Larissa get deported.

Colt said his initial separation from Larissa was hard because a part of him still loved her but he knew what ultimately had to be done.

"Larissa has power over me. She knows how to control me to some degree, and that scares me," Colt admitted to the cameras.

Larissa reveals her new boyfriend Eric

Larissa was then shown going out on a date with her new boyfriend, whom she met on a dating app and thought was very handsome. Larissa planned to live like it was her last day.

Eric recently got out of a relationship right before meeting Larissa, so he could relate to her ongoing divorce. Although Eric was only 26, Larissa thought he had a lot of life experience.

Larissa signed up for a dating app two weeks after her arrest, and she was having a lot of fun with Eric.

But Larissa felt sad about everything that had transpired. She said she needed to love herself first and time with Eric was "heaven" vs. "hell" with Colt and Debbie.

Eric told the cameras he would love to find out more about Larissa and appreciated how she continued to open up more and more to him.

But Larissa didn't tell Eric everything about herself. He apparently didn't know she had a trial with Colt coming up in a few days, and Eric didn't know what that trial might mean for her future in America.

The next day, Larissa met with her attorney, Adam Vander Heyden, for the third time. Adam admitted Larissa's case was getting worse and worse because now she showed a history of domestic violence.

"I never thought in my life I would be arrested three times," Larissa admitted.

Larissa told her lawyer that Colt had cleaned out his bank account and left her with $38.

Adam predicted Colt and Debbie would testify against Larissa this time and the case would come down to whom the judge believed more. Adam told the cameras the chance of Larissa's case being dismissed was very slim.

If Larissa was found guilty, she would face classes, community service and up to six months in jail. She'd be handcuffed right then and there and be thrown into county jail.

Adam told Larissa the outcome of this trial would be extremely important for her immigration status because it could prevent her from staying in America.

"This is not a good thing if you get convicted," Adam told Larissa.

"If you pick up a conviction for domestic violence while you are here in limbo floating around, that would immediately get you deported from the United States. ICE don't mess around. Once they pick them up, as an attorney, it's real tough to get them out. Like, you ain't getting them out."

Adam told Larissa they'd have to win the case or else.

Colt develops mixed feelings about Larissa

Colt later revealed Larissa had reached out to him for the second time in two months and he was confused and didn't know how to feel.

Larissa allegedly told Colt that she was lonely, sad and still wanted to be with him. Colt didn't know what Larissa wanted because he had rumors about her having a new boyfriend.

"Part of me still loves her. Part of me still cares about her... She's begging me for money to pay for her lawyers," Colt shared.

Debbie asked Colt not to pay for Larissa's lawyers and claimed she was trying to use him. Debbie assumed Larissa was after Colt just so he'd drop the charges.

Colt then started second guessing himself on whether he should testify against Larissa. But Debbie told his son that she was going to testify no matter what because she wanted what was best for him.

Colt knew if Larissa was found guilty, she'd be deported -- and Colt didn't want to be responsible for destroying Larissa's life and sending her back to Brazil.

"You've got to do the right thing; you've got to testify against her," Debbie told Colt.

Larissa tells Eric the truth about her trial

One day before her trial, Larissa invited Eric over to her place to tell him about her trial. Larissa needed some emotional support and she could envision a future with Eric.

Larissa worried Eric would leave her once he knew everything about her situation, but she was willing to take that risk in order to be truthful and honest with her new man.

Larissa disclosed she had been arrested three times for domestic violence against her ex-husband, and Eric appeared shocked. Larissa said her case was coming up the next day and there was a chance she could be deported.

Eric had been under the impression Larissa's court hearing was just about her divorce, so this definitely raised some red flags for Eric. It definitely was disturbing to discover Larissa had been arrested for domestic violence.

Eric appreciated Larissa's honesty and hoped she'd continue to be honest with him.

"But I have you, right?" Larissa asked Eric.

"Yes. I support you 100 percent. I'm here for you," Eric replied.

Larissa hoped she wouldn't be found guilty because she saw a future with Eric. Larissa wanted a chance to make herself a new life in America and be happy.

Larissa's trial gets postponed

It then became time for Colt and Larissa's trial, and Colt was looking forward to the drama being over.

Larissa did not go to court because Adam feared she would immediately be taken away and placed in a detention center. He therefore told her to stay home and await some news.

Two hours later, Colt and Debbie walked out of court and admitted they were disappointed nothing was going to happen to Larissa although serious charges had been brought against her.

Adam informed Larissa the judge had granted them an additional 60 days to work on their case. Adam therefore planned to work on a negotiation to reduce the charges down to something less.

Based on what Adam could reduce the charges down to, he intended to consult with an immigration attorney to make sure the new charge would not affect her immigration status.

Larissa felt relieved she'd have more time, and Adam insisted it was good news.

Adam warned Larissa, however, ICE was involved with her case and might pick her up to deport her before her next court date.

"That's a federal agency. They act on their own agenda. If they want to detain you or seize you between now and your next court date, they can," Adam explained to Larissa.

Adam told Larissa that he'd prepare her for her next court date.

Larissa planned to be calm over the next 60 days and behave herself.

Colt could not object to the delay, and he said his decision to testify against Larissa had been made for him because her charge would probably be reduced.

Colt was relieved he didn't have to testify against his wife, but Debbie admitted the situation sucked. Debbie didn't think Colt was going to be able to move on.

Five weeks later, Colt revealed Larissa had signed their divorce papers and he finally felt at peace.

There were times when he missed Larissa, and Colt acknowledged it would be "terrible and amazing" at the same time to see Larissa at the Tell-All special for Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

Colt planned to confront Larissa at the Tell-All special and "tell her some things."
