Like 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days' first three seasons, the fourth season follows Americans who started online romantic relationships with overseas partners as they travel overseas hoping to get engaged to someone they've never met in person and then begin the K-1 Visa immigration process.

Along the way, they'll encounter challenges that include large age gaps, language barriers, cultural issues, and questionable pasts.

Below is what was shown on the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days.

AVERY AND ASH

Avery and Ash woke up next to each other for the first time in Australia. Avery played coy when asked by producers what had happened the night before, and she admitted, "I did not go straight to bed."

Avery had originally planned to sleep in separate rooms from Ash but noted it was "very hard to resist" the "sexy man" she had in front of her.

Ash acknowledged they had a very good connection and there was "a lot of connection."

"He's better than, like, anything I've ever had before in my entire life, yeah. Yeah, he's good," Avery told the cameras.

Avery was about to meet Ash's brother and wanted to make a good impression, but Ash confessed his brother wasn't thrilled about the idea of Avery being from America. Ash's brother questioned Avery's intentions and just wanted to make sure Ash was going to be okay.

Avery asked if it would be okay if she had a drink, and Ash suggested that would be fine. Avery apparently had different habits from Ash in that she drinks wine and enjoys cannabis but he doesn't like either of those things.

Ash told Avery that he would always support her and that would never change.

Avery said Ash had a talent at making people feel comfortable, so she worried he was just telling her what she wanted or needed to hear. Avery therefore planned to be her true, authentic self and hoped the brothers would approve and embrace her for who she is.

After nine months of dating, Avery and Ash had only enjoyed one day in person. Avery said things with Ash were going "amazing" and he felt so comfortable around him.

Ash said it was very important Avery connects with Antish, who was the most important part of his life. Antish, however, didn't completely trust Avery since she and Ash had broken up several times.

When Avery ordered an alcoholic drink at lunch, Ash actually followed suit and ordered the same one because he thought it sounded great.

Antish told the cameras Avery wasn't a good influence on Ash, but Avery insisted she was totally committed to Ash and just hoped this relationship was the right relationship.

Avery wasn't getting a great vibe from Antish and said the meeting "felt like an interview."

Avery then revealed Ash was open to moving to the United States to start a family together and live with her child. Antish predicted more problems were ahead for the couple and maybe Ash "should drink some more alcohol."

ED AND ROSEMARIE

Ed called their date in the marketplace "a disaster" because he was so hot and sweaty. He also didn't like how Rose took out his wallet and kept buying herself things.

However, Ed felt guilty for snapping at Rose, and so he decided to pamper her a little bit by going for manicures and pedicures. Rose didn't like seeing Ed stressed out and overwhelmed; she just wanted to have a good and relaxing time with him.

Ed apologized to Rose for getting mad at her, and she promised to always be on his side.

Ed noted Rose had a lot of friends on Facebook and that concerned him, and he asked if she was friends with any of her ex-boyfriends. Rose assured him that was not the case, but Ed wanted to learn more about her exes.

"I want to make absolutely sure I know everything about her past before I make that commitment to [propose marriage]," Ed told the cameras.

Rose said she met one of her exes on Facebook, but she also claimed she wasn't friends with any of her exes on Facebook. Ed was confused and wondered if the language barrier was presenting issues for them, but Rose said she had blocked her ex and didn't speak to any other guys on social media.

Rose told Ed that she didn't want to talk about her past and just wanted to focus on their future together. However, Rose shutting down didn't give Ed much reason to trust her.

Ed feared Rose viewed him as her ticket to the United States and that she'd eventually leave him once she and her son got settled in America.

The pair got off to a rough start, but Ed told Rose that he loved her very, very much and wanted nothing more than to give her and Prince the best life ever.

Rose was tired of Ed asking about her past, so he promised to put it behind them -- as long as Rose would be willing to take an STD test.

Rose appeared shocked when Ed brought that up, but he said if she'd be willing to take a test, he'd never question her about her past again.

"I'm disappointed," Rose replied, before telling the cameras, "I feel hurt. My heart crack."

Rose told Ed that he had offended her, but Ed explained she never wanted to talk about her past relationships or friends on Facebook and so he needed some reassurance he could trust her and Rose isn't someone who sleeps around.

"Take this simple test and I'll never ask again," Ed said.

Rose agreed to take an STD test as long as Ed would do the same, or else it would be unfair. Rose felt Ed was treating her poorly and didn't understand why he was so hung up on her past.

Ed said Rose was the one who was not being honest with him and he wouldn't feel comfortable moving forward with their relationship unless she could open up about the past.

Ed told Rose that he needed some air, and so he left the table. Rose started to cry at the restaurant and repeated how she felt hurt.

Rose feared Ed viewed her an "an easy girl" rather than a girlfriend, and so she was angry. Rose told Ed that she loved him but wanted to go home by herself.

"I am very, very, very hurt!" Rose yelled at Ed.

But Ed just wanted to know the truth and still had some questions. He wanted to know about Rose's ex-boyfriend or at least Prince's father, and Rose explained that Prince's father was a bachelor who moved on and got married and welcomed a child with someone else.

Rose said she had met Prince's father four years prior and had two serious relationships in her past, both of whom had hurt her. Rose hated that Ed didn't trust her and wanted to be alone, so Ed offered to book Rose her own hotel room for the night near his hotel.

"I don't know [what just happened]. But I do not believe in love," Ed told the cameras as Rose walked away from him.

LISA AND USMAN

Lisa was expecting to watch Usman perform live at the premiere party for the song he had written for her in a club. Lisa worried about how Usman's female friends were going to react and whether they'd be throwing themselves at him.

But first, Usman showed Lisa his music and recording studio where he had produced the song "I Love You" for her.

Since a model was featured in the video, Lisa didn't like the video director. However, Usman said the model had been edited out to make her happy. The video changed so much from the original that the director didn't even want credit for it anymore.

Usman said Lisa had insisted on them changing the video, and the director vented about how Lisa was therefore responsible for making people do extra work. He called her "Queen of Queens," however, and that's the only translation Usman provided Lisa as to not upset her.

"Changing my video could be bad for my career. I wish Lisa could understand what I sacrifice for her," Usman said in a confessional.

That night, Usman introduced Lisa to his friend Abba, who is also in the entertainment industry in Nigeria. Usman hoped this gathering would help Lisa to understand his career and passion better.

Abba insisted having female fans is good for a singer's career and so Lisa scaring them off wasn't ideal. Abba told Lisa she was causing problems by removing the model in Usman's video and a singer cannot disappoint his or her fans in order to be successful.

"Are you trying to destroy his music career?" Abba asked.

"That is an insult," Lisa replied, before threatening to leave the gathering. "This guy is an idiot."

Abba thought Lisa was being "too jealous" and that Usman deserved more from a life partner.

Usman laughed at what Abba had to say, and so Lisa felt very disrespected by her fiance. Lisa thought Usman should have stood up for her, and Abba eventually apologized. But Usman said Abba was just trying to give Lisa advice and a woman shouldn't behave like that in Nigeria.

"I feel very embarrassed," Usman said.

DAVID AND LANA

David was shown picking out an engagement ring for his Ukrainian girlfriend Lana, whom he had met seven years ago. But the pair had yet to meet in person or even speak on the phone.

David felt lucky Lana wanted to be with him, saying she's "beautiful" and "intelligent."

David told the jeweler he had spent thousands of hours talking to a woman but had yet to even see her in person.

The time had come for David to get on an airplane and meet Lana within 24 hours in Odessa. David packed a GPS and massage oil. He wasn't expecting intimacy but also admitted he'd love to be intimate with Lana if it happened naturally.

David said it had been a while since he was intimate with a woman, and so he was really excited about the trip.

David's friend Jim drove him to the airport and advised him to follow his heart but follow it with caution. David was hoping this trip was going to be it and he'd finally come face-to-face with his love.

After 22 hours of travel time and flying about 8,000 miles, David finally touched down in Ukraine. David said Lana wasn't scheduled to arrive in Odessa until the morning because she had a 10-hour train ride from her hometown.

David met his friend Anya, who is also from Ukraine, at the airport.

David and Anya had met 12 years ago prior when she was admittedly searching for an American man, but after the pair agreed there were no sparks between them, they stayed friends. Anya said it was common for women in the Ukraine to look for older men with money.

Anya told David it was "weird" he had never met Lana before in person, but David planned to bring Anya over to the United States through a K-1 visa. They needed evidence of their relationship and photos, however, in order to even start the visa process.

STEPHANIE AND ERIKA

Stephanie couldn't wait to meet Erika, whom she said is beautiful on the inside and out. Stephanie traveled with her mask on and was risking her life for love.

"Even something as minor as a cold could land me in the hospital. I'm wondering if this is crazy or stupid or both, but I think this risk might be worth it. I think she might be the one," Stephanie said.

Erika, a photographer, says she loves her job and doesn't work under many boundaries. She called her lifestyle unconventional and said she's independent and lives loudly.

Erika called herself "a colorful weirdo" and said she's attracted to how Stephanie is unapologetically herself, especially when it comes to her sexuality. Erika noted there weren't many bisexual women in her small town in "The Outback," and so she was lucky to have met Stephanie.

While they had known each other for a year, Erika told her friends she had only been romantic with Stephanie for four months. Erika's friends were concerned about how fast the relationship was moving, and then Erika revealed she still lived with her parents.

Erika said her parents just assumed she was gay but she had never officially come out to them. Stephanie was going to be the first woman Erika ever brought home, and she was pretty nervous about being so open and candid with her family. Erika also hoped Stephanie wouldn't be subjected to bigotry and hate.

After three flights, 30 hours of traveling, and a lot of medications and precautions, Stephanie made it to Australia and hoped Erika would still think she's pretty.

When the pair saw each other, Stephanie yelled out, "It's my girlfriend!"

The girls ran to each other and hugged, and Erika gifted Stephanie with little pineapples. Erika gushed about how she had waited so long to hold Stephanie in her arms.

"She is the most beautiful, best smelling, best dressed, most amazing human being. I probably like her way more than she likes me right now, but it's okay, we'll work on it," Stephanie told the cameras.

The couple didn't kiss because Stephanie said she's not a huge fan of PDA, but Stephanie thought their first meeting could not have gone any better. Stephanie said she felt ready to "bust out the world" and show she's gay.

Erika felt this was the start of her future with Stephanie, and Stephanie was so glad she was finally with her love.

It had been a while since Stephanie was intimate with anyone, so she was a little nervous to go to the hotel. Stephanie wasn't sure she'd be ready to have sex as quickly as Erika wanted her to, noting Erika was a very sexual person.

Stephanie just hoped taking things slowly wouldn't be a dealbreaker for Erika.

YOLANDA AND WILLIAMS

Yolanda said she had spent hundreds of hours talking to Williams on the phone and he made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, but when she looked at his Instagram account recently, the account was gone.

Williams claimed his Instagram wasn't opening or working and he didn't know how to fix the problem, so Yolanda just chose to believe him and leave it at that. She trusted Williams and opted to give him the benefit of the doubt.

As Yolanda went shopping for dresses and new clothes with a friend, Williams texted her heart emojis. Yolanda's friend Kim was very concerned because Williams was putting up some red flags, but Yolanda said she needed to see and figure things out for herself.

GEOFFREY AND VARYA

Geoffrey apparently slept on the couch in Varya's apartment and realized he was Varya's "opportunity to get out of Russia." He worried he was being used, but he still enjoyed getting to know Varya.

Varya wanted to put the drama behind them and just have fun together, so the pair went for a walk in a park. Geoffrey admitted he wasn't sure what Varya's intentions were since she had stopped working on her apartment and making it better.

"[Opportunity] is not a bad word. I said it's a big opportunity to move to America -- plus you,' Varya said.

But Geoffrey pointed out the order in which she had just listed her priorities.

"If we don't work out, is it on to the next American?" Geoffrey asked.

Varya didn't like how Geoffrey was acting and insisted she was just trying to find her soul mate. But since Varya had reached out to him first, he questioned whether she had reached out to other Americans in attempt to obtain a Green Card.

"I don't like your questions, but I like you," Varya told Geoffrey, adding that she was a potential love for Geoffrey and he just needed to let go and trust their relationship.

Geoffrey wanted to clear the air but decided to trust Varya in that moment, and so the pair hugged, kissed and planned to have fun. Geoffrey realized he might be jaded and was taking out his past on Varya. He wanted to give her a fair chance.

Geoffrey was then introduced to several of Varya's friends, including Masha, who admitted she's skeptical of Americans and worried Geoffrey had secrets.

Geoffrey revealed he had a girlfriend two years before Varya but hadn't been in a serious relationship since then -- until Varya. Geoffrey promised he had the best of intentions for Varya and was very serious about her.

Masha then asked Geoffrey if he had been keeping any secrets. Geoffrey said he had a past but so did Varya. Geoffrey didn't feel it was right to be interrogated by Varya's friends.

"It's not about us having secrets. It's about us growing," Geoffrey told the group.

Varya's friends pointed out a relationship must be built on trust, and then one woman called Varya out.

"Did you tell Geoffrey that recently you were in close communication with another American? And you had a pretty serious relationship?" the woman asked.

Varya wouldn't interpret her friend's words for Geoffrey, but Geoffrey could hear "American," so he asked Varya to explain.

Varya confessed she had been in contact with another American, which rubbed Geoffrey the wrong way.

"You told me I was the only American you spoke to. You straight up lied to me," Geoffrey said at the table.

Varya told the cameras she had dated other Americans online and never told Geoffrey because she didn't think it was a big deal.

Geoffrey got angry, saying Varya had lied to him and her actions proved she just wanted to come to America. Geoffrey got loud at the table at the restaurant, and Varya's friends told him to "take it easy."

As Varya's friends had smiles on their faces, Geoffrey shouted, "You think this is funny?!"

Geoffrey stood up at the table in confrontation with another man and then yelled at Varya, "You lied to me! I am done. This is bullsh-t."

Geoffrey told the cameras he was ready to get out of Russia and Varya just wanted a man who could help her get a Green Card. Geoffrey cried and said he should've been smarter than this, that he was actually failing himself.
